Alright I'm able to make the entire thing! Finally! I just have one problem with this little get-together. . . if it starts at 7 (potentially at 5) then I'm going to be on the campus with nowhere to go and nothing to do for like three or so hours because of my ride arrangements. Soo anyone up for some pre-jam shred?

Hey Mike I really like that idea of TEN. Not only is that really fun to do yourself but it's incredibly entertaining for other people to watch. A win-win. I'd say go for it!

Pat, you can just come straight to my house when you get here. Its 30 livingston street, geneseo ny 14454. or just call me at 585-905-6314 when you get into town.

If you're planning on staying the night out in Geneseo (saturday or sunday), then now's the time to let me know. I need to know how many people to accomodate, and what people will be attending after-hours. Especially you younger types.

Also, I have two bags from Roy Bradish. They're sweet, I kicked with one of them the other day and it is definitely a quality item. They'll be offered up as prizes. Waylon is sending one as well.

Did you still want to donate a bag Matt? Couch space can be arranged

Greetings,

I do believe I will be attending the Geneseo New Year's Jam. Aidan will undoubtedly be accompanying me. I'm sure we could use some crash space if there is still some available. Looking forward to some footbag fun.

Ten sounds great Mike.

I have floor space, and some crappy air mattresses if Chris's place gets filled up.

My ankle is still messed up, but I might try playing a little and see how it feels. Still look forward to seeing everyone.

Yeah i'll be staying over on saturday - sunday so any accomodations are welcome but if there's no more space not to worry. It's only an hour from my driveway and I really wouldn't be bothered with a late-night drive home and coming back the next days.

Are there going to be any bags for sale that aren't prizes? I would guess there would be.

I already talked to Tommy... he can't make it. I forget why. Most likely transportation.

Mike, any word on the music supply? I dont really have useful speakers and we at least need a cd player. And what about that FTP site?

As far as my special arrangement... I sold most of it and didn't come up with much to begin with. But for those who partake, it will be a treat. We'll easily go through all of it in a short while however.

And yes Pat, there will be beverages. My house has a kegerator (a refrigerator that holds a keg and there's a tap on the door. really classy, no pumping necessary.) so Mike and I discussed the possibility of getting a half or quarter keg of something funky fresh and partying that way. I'm not talking about Busch.

I really need to know 1) who's staying over in geneseo 2) who wants to pitch in/drink from the house supply.
So far I am assuming
1) pat pat will matt paul scott aidan ben (mike, aric, pittsford kids?)
2) pat pat will matt paul scott aidan mike are possible drinkers, there will also be my friends from around town.

Has anyone heard from the guys from Pittsford? I need to know if they are still coming. Maybe I'll call Doug myself. He's the only one whose phone number I have.

Please, I need more info from everyone who is coming. Also let me know when you are arriving.

I promise that once I have a little while I will post more contact info, addresses for mapquest, and all that stuff.

Also, I ordered BOTS from Freedom, but it doesn't look like it will be here on time. That was gonna be another surprise. Oh well.

Yeah I'm staying in Geneseo as long as space allows. I'll drink a little I suppose. Usually the later it gets and the less tv I watch the more I want to randomly play footbag and I don't like playing drunk. At least that's the way things went down for me at KICKASS I where I had to get a small circle going at like 1am because I was bored and I finished my little spraypaint masterpiece on Tom's wall. Anyway - Chris I'll be there probably around 5ish. Maybe a little sooner. But not earlier than 4/:30 and not later than 5:30. I'll give you a call but I'll probably be calling from your driveway. . . that's the sort of thing I'd be prone to do.

@Chris,

I think we will be arriving around the posted 7 pm start time on Sat. We would be willing to throw down some $ for fine brewed beverages. Thanks for the crash space and the whole event in general.

I think I might be able to make it to this if there is still room for more attendees. Only for Saturday's time though as I will be leaving for NC on the 31st. Is there a specific address?

Sound Equipment

Post by mikeanello »

FTP Site: ftp://ngusi.dyndns.org/
Username: yeah2006
Password: F0otB@g (2nd character is a zero)

If you have any trouble connecting to this FTP site, please contact me at 585-455-9706.

Feel free to copy/paste any and all audio files you would like to hear during YEAH 2006. When you post songs, please make sure the files are intuitively named. I suggest a format such as [Artist Name - Song Name.mp3] or [Artist Name - Track Number - Songer Name.mp3] without the square brackets. This way we can easily find what people want to here. Feel free to create subfolders when useful. In the case where you are uploading an album, you may create a subfolder for the artist, then a subfolder for the album.

I will be bringing audio equipment - two speakers, a mixer, two microphones, as well as my laptop computer and an external harddrive with a few gigs of music on it. Any music posted on the FTP site will be included. This equipment is for my use only. Unless you have been specifically asked by me to monitor or operate any of this equipment, please do not touch it. The equipment is expensive and most importantly, it is not mine. If it were mind I would be more carefree with it, but it is not, so I will not.

UPDATED: Beer

Post by mikeanello »

I would be happy to get beer for the kegerator. I believe a quarter keg will adequately serve the number of people coming. If we need more, we get more. Chris, please let me know what kind you would like for me to get and I will take care of the rest. Private Message or call will work if you would like for it to be a surprise.

UPDATES:

I will be getting a half-keg from Southtown Beverages Drive Thru Inc. http://www.kegking.com tomorrow and storing it in my garage until I bring it out to Geneseo. Chris, if you would like me to bring the keg out tomorrow night so we may set it up in the kegerator ahead of the event, let me know and I will accommodate.

Peace.

Pyroman, dooooo iiiiittt come on out. there's definitely more crash space.

My house is 30 Livingston street, Geneseo NY 14454. The crash space is at a different house, but you can show up here on saturday.

Call me at 585-905-6314 when you get into town or if you need help with directions or anything.

Mike, thanks for getting all that together. I'm not going to be in Geneseo until Friday night, but we wont need the keg until saturday anyway. I don't know what to get. I have never been to Southtown Beverages so they probably have tons of beer I have never heard of. I'm sure you know better than I, so pick out something cooool 8)

Suggestions for beer are welcome and for the most part neccessary. I am a Guinness man - I drink Guinness - but I know a lot of people don't like it. So please give suggestions. I will get whatever you guys prefer.
