Good day. I got some new shorts to shred in, along with some shirts that are supposed to breath better or something. I'm not sure why they need to breath better, considering that I've never seen any shirt breath ever, but they do feel more comfortable when kicking. Some of them are muscle shirts though, so I'm going to have to start eating more peanut butter and doing pushups. I don't want to look scrawny when shreding it up in public. In other news I hit twenty contacts of Smear>PLO [rpt], along with 43 contacts of PLO. I know I can hit more, but my legs always get tired around then and start dragging along. I'm sure that if I can keep up the two to three hours I've been kicking a day that won't be much of a problem for long. That's going to be really hard when I go back to school, but I'm going to make sure I kick a couple times a week at least. I can't believe that I miss-spelled "deity". Thanks for the save Ken.

In honor of the chat conversation I'm naming the fairy gyro xbd heel hopover "four year old" and am determined to learn how to duck my fairy set so that I could put that before a "four year old". That would be soo much fun to hit a fucking four year old. And with that I'm off to a much needed slumber.

Good session today. The first hour was a little off, but almost everything clicked durring the second. I wasn't able to kick the last 3 days because I had to go to Wisconsin for my cousin's wedding with my family, and they wouldn't let me go off and kick by myself. Oh well, I guess it happens. Some highlights were 19 contacts of Smear>PLO [rpt], 38 contacts of PLO (along with multiple other 30+ contact runs of PLO's), Dragon-osis > Pdx. Mirage on both sides (unfortantly different strings), and 5 contacts of juggling 2 balls. I feel really good for the two hours of shred I had today, so I'm considering kicking some more later on tonight.

Oh yeah I strung 5 Dragon-osis. Maybe there's hope for them yet. :D

I heard GF's back in Michigan. I hope I get to kick with him soon.

3 hours today. I broke almost every record that I've been keeping track of. I'm very exhausted, and sweaty. Well not so much any more because I took a shower a couple seconds ago, but I was sweaty. Very sweaty.

After I practiced everything that I wanted to, I goofed around with some fun stuff. Highlights of that were:
flip quantum
and flip wanton sets both for the first time. I also had the mirages out of both of them slide off my foot a couple times.
warped set, it was waist high but I landed rough on my symposium foot so I barely had time to lift it for the delay, much less a mirgage. I really want to hit warp, I think it is the coolest trick ever. I should probably work on changing how I do the second dex so that it looks more like how Pinkus does the trick instead of a delayed fairy.
Wanton Flux-Dragon. A much more respectable 6 add. I like this one.
I also had Wantomic Legover roll off my toe a couple times. And I think sailing muted mirage is pathetically easy for a tripple dex, even midstring.
I also had 3 or 4 guiltless strings of over 20 contacts. I was on fire today. Everything seemed so easy, except my flip fairy set. Which is depressing because I hit flip fear severial years before I hit fear on what is now my strong side (which I linked 4 in a row today with) but somehow in what ever I did to make it click on my strong side really didn't help my flip. I guess I just have to keep plugging away at it.
Oh, I almost forgot I hit fuck severial times, if I kick later tonight I'll have to hit something out of it- that really shouldn't be too hard.
I want to get a fourth hour of shred in later, but I don't know if my body can currently handle it.

Wow. It's depressing how quickly things can shift. Yesterday I was on fire, and today I sucked pathetically. I might try again later, but I think I'm just going to wait until tommorow and hope this passes over. I hit wanton mirage once (and it was a bad catch) in about 40 or 50 trys. And the longest string I had was 11 PLO's in half an hour of practice. 11! Yesterday I don't think I hit a sting of PLO's less then 20 in three hours of time, even when I was exhausted at the end I was doing better. I think I'm just going to try and consentrate on yesterday and wait until tommorow.

Hey Brandon: I was going to give you props for your good session, where you broke all your old records (those sessions kick so much ass), but then I noticed all this:

hahahaha. I really shouldn't be drinking water when I check out modified, should I? Nearly choked when I read that. Does anyone know why there isn't a spell check feature? I'm too lazy to check every post I compose with Micro$oft Word.

Thanks for noticing though, I really love it when everything comes together for a day like that.

I'm recovering from a cold, so that's my excuse for not posting much reciently. Went to Ann Arbor for some shred tonight. It was alot of fun, even though I was off a bit. I guess it helps that I was expecting it because of my cold. Despite not being able to shred for severial days I didn't really do that bad. I had a nice string of 18 toe shuffle contacts, along with severial smaller ones that had some nice variety. I figured out a new way to try for 3atw, by trying to make the first dex like a whirl. I've managed to get the dexes in severial times today by doing this, but I still need to work on making sure I don't fling the bag when I set for it. I also want to try terraging atomic, that'd be pretty sweet. I almost landed sailing ss dlo too. I've been close to this in the past, but I really think I'm going to seal it tommorow. I over dexed it severial times tonight, and had it bounce off my toe once. Zach started off really good, I saw one really sweet shuffle run that had something like three fives and a six in it. Sick. That's just crazy to be busting that big. He's cutting back with his far legover bails too, so he's busting longer guiltless runs. Oh yeah, I guess that Adam didn't do too bad. He hit Nemesis.

Fun times where had by all.

I still can't believe that Adam hit Nemesis.

I always enjoy reading small text, and highly recomend reading that blurb if you didn't read it yesterday. It was one of the coolest things that I have ever seen.

I didn't kick much today, I tried but felt weak and couldn't get started. Tommorow.

Had an hour long session earlier today. I really wanted to go for a quad dex, but my legs were feeling sluggish. It was ok though. I hit 41 PLO's, and had a couple 20+ stings. That was really cool. I also hit several different strings that were around 7-9 unique guiltless in a row. I like those, and should work on them more.

Later on today I decided to try it again, and was pleased to notice that my legs were responding better. Sailing set seemed soo easy. I managed to hit my first quad, I actually sealed it twice. Sailing ss DLO. I know it would be an easy one to The, but I'm pretty sure it was clean. Both times the bag was still going up after the second dex, and I'd wait for it to start falling before going for the third. I also was really close to TAtW, and had terraging mirage bounce off my toe a couple times.

I really can't believe how much of a difference it makes to try to "whirl" the first dex of terrage. I've been able to clear the second dex uptime a couple times now. It also helps with fairy-pixie (wiggle or whatever it's called) sets. I don't know if that would be considered clean, I have a hard time seeing the second dex but when I go through the motion slowly and think about it seems to me like it would have to be fine. Setting it slightly off to the side and doing a reverse whirl muted pixie sort of motion. It just happens so fast. I'll have to get some people to watch me and let me know how it is. If it's clean fairy sailing is definately possible. I came really close a couple times tonight before I called it quits.

I'm really excited seeing how my game is developing. I'm still needing some consistancy and work on my flipside but some really big tricks are becoming possibilities and my strings are slowly getting better. My game has definately taken off this year, and there is still so much to look forward too. I'm going to go to Funtastiks, and I want to go to the Chicago Christmas Jam. Also there should be some people to kick with reguarly in East Lansing when I go back to school.

Anyone know how many people have sealed quad dex tricks in Michigan?

Awesome session today! There were six of us kicking it up big time over in Ann Arbor today. GF finally showed up, and did pretty good. Adam, Zach, Kevin, Tony and I were there to watch his long strings. Everyone was busting it up pretty big today.

My personal highlights that I can still remember:
around 10 stings of guiltless shuffle that were over 20 contacts!!! :D
with plenty of stings that were close to that.
Wanton Mirage midstring.
Toe Blur midstring, and I came close to flip Toe Blur midstring.
Sailing DLO for everyone to see. :D
Pixie Zulu Butterflyer
Fairy Firefly
Pixie Inspining Toe
Pixie Torque-Dragon
toe set Motion-Dragon (first time)
I came really close to terraging mirage.
Stampede
Pixie Dyno Dragon
And I'm sure that there were plenty of other sweet tricks that I'm forgetting.
Zach was busting it up pretty big too, but I'll let him post that in his blog. I hope he remembers the sick stuff that GF was laying down. It was pretty crazy. Today was easily the best Friday that I've had all week. No competition for that at all. :D

I'm looking forward to Funtastics. But I really need to get back in shape. I haven't kicked for over a week because work has been hell, and I had to move out to State, ect. Bunch of lousy excuses. Why does life have to get in the way? :D I'm going to start practicing again though because today was just disapointing. I had to struggle for 30 guilts, and the only time I managed to get 20 contacts (which I dropped on the 20th) was with only PLO's and Smears. Other then that the best I did was 11 guiltless. On a brighter note some random dude came up and kicked for a couple minutes with me. He could do Atw, pixie, mirage, clippers, and almost hit PLO after he saw me hit it. Pretty cool. I had to quit after 20 minutes though because I was winded. I've become a fatty. I'll have to work on that.

Just read your blog, I love the stuff you are hitting. It would be great to see some video footage. Also heel stepover is nice but hard in lavers, I see you were also thinking of buuilding a heel box.

I'm way out of shape. Hopefully I can start kicking on a regular basis again- but not too likely this semmester.

Hit smog and pixie tap. Also had a couple stings around 16-18 contacts of pure shuffle. All of which wiped the floor with my arse. Off to shower after a 20 min session- sheesh.

I got bored around 5 a.m. so I kicked at work. Mostly worked on my PLO's and Osis-dragons. Was plesently surprised that I could hit multiple triple dex tricks in my denim jeans.

Highlights:
Dominatrix
Smog
Fairy Swirling Reverse Swirl rolled off my foot. More of an issue with my clippers then the dexes.
Fairy Swirl-dragon > dragon-osis
a couple strings over 10 contacts, mostly PLO's.
Not to shabby for the wrong attire.

New Years jam was the bomb! I need to start kicking recently- I didn't play much last semester because I was busy with work and a rough set of classes, and then I came down with bronchitis, so I wasn't in good shape for this event and had trouble linking together strings. It was still a great event, I had a blast. I think Worlds will probably be my next event, but that's going to be sweet too.

Some highlights:

-Meeting everyone, and getting to kick with them.
-My legs giving out from under me three times on Friday morning.
-David Clavens.
-The sauna making me feel soo much better.
-Eating free pizza and talking to Steve Goldberg.
-Sealing fairy symposium (symple?) osis dragon for the first time.
-footing sailing ss torque dragon a couple times in bluejeans.
-David Clavens admiting that he lost my Mr. Sandman by kicking it up on a roof while playing footbag golf. It's all good- he's going to give me a good discount on one of his bags. Making me very happy, even though I miss that bag.
-Rehitting sailing ss dlo, dominatrix, pixie-fairy mirage, pixie torque dragon, phasing mirage, and some other big (for me) tricks.
-Kicking with Nick Landis, David Clavens, Jorden Moir, Jeremy Mirken, John Mahood, Henry Griese, along with tons of other people that's names aren't coming to my head right now- and of course GF, Zach and Kyle.
-Getting a pretty new Fletcher Funk bag, I'm lovin' it!
-The trip there and back.
