mashups recommendations?

I just heard "Mashups" for the first time (besides the grey album,) at NYJ and I liked what I heard... good stuff to shred to. Any recommendations? Preferably with a fast beat for shred..

Mashups are great and although I loved the grey album (recommended by Ken at the time) it's no where near the best things I've heard since. I'd highly suggest you get your hands on PopChop:

I don't know if these URLs are readable but the album names are "Cut the Fuck Up" and "Cut Up or Shut Up" and include such gems as Eminem Vs. Survivor, Beastie Boys Vs. Michael Jackson or Dr. Dre Vs. Britney Spears (you get the idea).

Absolutly worth to be checked out.

By far the best mash-up I've heard is "Blue Eyes Meets Bed Stuy," which is Frank Sinatra Music with Notorious B.I.G. lyrics over it. PM Stephen Barnes, he'd be the one to tell you where to find it. You might also want to check out the work of "2 Many DJs." They are a pair of Belgian DJs who are very adept at mixing songs together during their DJ sets. They've mixed stuff like "Push It" by Salt N. Pepa with a song by The Stooges, as well as mixing "Cannonball" by the Breeders with "I wish I was a little bit taller" by Skee-Lo.
