So over the passed year or so I've become more and more interested in the practice of Human Bioacoustics. Pretty much it's an alternative healing developed by a woman, Sharry Edwards (who I think can hear something like 10 octaves above and below average human hearing and has the gift of perfect pitch), that "heals" people via sound. With advanced technological equipment she can find missing or distressed frequencies within the human body (providing they take a simple 60 sec. sound test to reveal their 'signature pitch'); she then produces a harmonizing frequency for that particular subject in various patterns that is much like "providing the body dietary supplements to support normal structure and function" , then will cancel out the distressed frequencies and return the body/mind to health.
I know a family in the area that knows this woman personally, and have seen first hand what she can do. She's "healed" people that doctor's have said were unable to be treated; it's just a matter of finding the right frequency to cancel out distressed ones. I didn't know until the end of the article that it [the second article] was actually written by the father of this family. Extremely intelligent man.
Now the reason this isn't being put into regular practice is because doctor's are only allowed to refer their patients to other doctor's or physicians with medical licenses that treat people with standard medicine and surgeries.
I think it's kind of ridiculous this kind of treatment is known and isn't used just for the sake of keeping pharmaceutical companies above water, especially bc it doesn't involve providing harmful drugs to the patients bodies.

I'm not sure how coherently I explained this so check out the links.
I think it is so amazing...What are your thoughts?

I would suggest taking a look at the first link. It's the most average-person-audience friendly. I'm not saying anyone on the forums it stupid, but it will probably be the easiest to understand to anyone who hasn't heard of this before. It's the most inclusive information-wise, and is actually written by Sharry Edwards herself.
It includes some ailments it has healed/is capable of healing.

I've read through this. From a scientific perspective it makes sense. On some level all matter and energy are waves. So everything emenates waves and it makes sense that our bodies give off sounds that are outside of the audible spectrum. I'm willing to believe that she has the ability to hear many octaves above and below what is normal for humans (hell dogs can do it for some reason). Her construct of the universe is obviously almost entirely auditory "that sounds good to me". How she actually manipulates people's bodies through acoustics I need to see to believe (you see that, I'm a very visual person). The articles go in to great length to explain how our bodies emenate all of these sounds that inaudible to the human ear that can tell her all sorts of information about our health, but do not go into any detail about how she knows what/leanred the sounds mean and more importantly what she does to manipulate them to perform her various cures. Do I have to pony up the 4 grand to see that?
Also, a lot of that stuff about Theta brainwave state and setting up postiive mental patterns is "borrowed" (I'll give her the benefit of the doubt and won't say stolen) from Ericksonian Hypnosis and Bandler/Grinder Neuro-Linguistic Programming. I think it's a good application, but geez, cite your sources lady.
Informative. Being a visual person I'd really need to see this in action to believe it.

Yeah I mean I'm not a professional in this field so a lot of this is hard for me to take in as well. I don't think the sounds mean as much as they just...are. I hope that makes sense.
It's all a matter of finding their signature frequency then seeing what's wrong with it, then feeding them the frequency to counter it. Even if she didn't know what the disease was every time, she'd know what the frequency was that is missing or distressed, and find a frequency to fill in or cancel it.
For ex. My friend pulled his groin muscle (he's a memeber of the family who knows her) and she took a sound sample from him, told his mom (whose also into Bioacoustics) to feed him a certain frequency. And he said within a few hours it didn't hurt anymore. I know this sounds like a cheesy story, but it's completely true. I don't know..I'd like to look into it a bit more, but I thought it was very interesting!
