shred today in my new climas. its weird getting used to all white shoes. here is what happened in my 30 min drill session:
ss mirage (b2b, duh) x 10
clipper stalls x 3 (on the same foot... just kicking it up and stalling it)
legover x 7 (b2b)
pickup x 3 (theyre looking like rakes right now... i need to fix that)
i did this weird shoulder bump in the middle of a string:
ss mirage > legover > legover > left shoulder bump > left toe > ss mirage
... i have no idea what happened... i just kept going. i wish i would have had it on vid cause i bet it looked cool.
i need to work on my clippers on the op side too. i dont want to get one side solid and not have been working with the other side too. my left foot seems retarded when i try to crank it... maybe ill work on some cranky stretchy things.
i think ill take brian out on a date sometime soon. i can never figure out where to take him though because they dont have footbag restraunts. i guess he can settle for steak or something.

it was me, brian, dat, and mosher. we were at worlds 2007. the hotel had disney rides inside. we took this crazy ride all the way from the hotel suite to the footbag site... what you do is get on your knees on this skateboard thing and it slides into a tube. the tube fills halfway with water and we rode the water ride to the site. but instead of footbag it was dodge balls that you do footbag tricks with. benny (ny) was doing some really cool tricks and jorden moir was juggling the dodge balls. kolo and mirken were throwing dodge balls at henry... and there was this CRAZY 4 square game with zeke, steve goldberg, emily, and tom k. the next thing i remember was seeing a dodge ball fly towards our kicking circle (me, brian, tricia, and reid) and going straight for tricia while she was kicking. she didnt notice so i jumped in the way, got hit with the dodge ball, and kicked in the face by tricia.
somehow i ended up riding the dumbo ride with matt cross and vasek and smoking this gigantic blunt.

i did the longest string ive ever done today. its not impressive... maybe 6 contacts... but still a best for me.
we are trying to plan out an event for tennessee. (me, brian, and lee) we all need to meet up and set a date to have it. we are gonna try to have it at the pavillions by the skatepark where we shred at. its next to wave country so hopefully we can plan this when its really warm outside that way we can all just go swim afterwards. we will probably start a thread sooner or later to get everyone else's ideas.

You know what Holly, I feel pretty shitty about my game too. In this sport progression can be compared to climbing up a terrace. There are all these personal levels you are climbing but before you can climb to the top of the next level your gonna have to struggle for it. It does suck because just when your starting to feel like your getting good you realize that you could be better. It is good that you are recognizing this because now you know what you need to do to be as good as you know you can be. If you dont like something about your game, change it. Youll get to the top of your own terrace it just takes time.

horrible week.
tuesday was hard to handle... it being cody's anniversary. now its been 4 years. what hurts me the most is that i cant really go visit. his mom had him creamated and put in this bronze box that she keeps in his bedroom. shes forbidden me to come visit because i bring back too many memories and its hard for her to handle. i understand her pain but shes a bitch for denying me visits. i can still remember everything that happened. like its all playing out in a movie in my brain. im trying to be strong. i tried not to cry all week but ive broken down. nothing could have prepared me for losing him. i guess im scared. i love brian. i dont know what id do without him.
ive been sick most of the week and last night was hell. i puked for a good 3 hours and slept on the couch so i wouldnt wake up brian. still feeling really sick.
i have to send off my laptop to get it fixed. its costing like $400. stupid fuckers. i love macs but i swear the apple company hires retards.
i got my hermey bag in the mail yesterday. probably the only good thing thats happened this week. its beautiful and i love it and i cant wait to kick it when i feel better. oh yeah, we got fabric yesterday too! LAPIS PWNS!
