thanks, alex and hania. :)

by the way my shred 30 score was 132,8 (alex just told me). actually not bad considering i had three drops and forgot to do a few tricks (and always started with toe stall after the drop). i really hope that i can soon set up a new personal best. i would really like to hit a shred 30 with like 150 points at least.

had a shred session by myself and just practised some shuffle and combos. also, practised shred30 that is actually shred15 or so, since it's not completed yet. only hit fear>fairy butt>pdx mir>fairy butt>pdx mir>smear>magellan>dimwalk>whirl>butt>whirl>pdx whirl>ss butt>pdx whirl>pdx mir>pixie osis>osis>osis and then stopped, because i got too tired (practised it after 1 hour of solo shredding). it's really hard to think up a shred30 that is easy enough to hit it in competition. that is why i can only do very basis toe shuffle.

lol. boring.
however. i'm really motivated at the moment.

TOMORROW I'M GOING TO BERLIN!!
GERMAN CHAMPS AHOI!!

actually i've got no idea if there's any other *foreigner* besides me coming...

greetings from berlin.
today i'm just a judge and don't have to worry about competition. :)
the last two days shredded with the fc-footstar-crew.
on thursday i had a lot of nice, hard and long runs. nothing special though, but was happy to hit midstring atomsmasher to fairy butterfly. on friday my legs were a bit tired, but i had some good runs and hit whirr first try twice. the best thing was though that max k. confirmed them as clean.
:D
waiting for spaghetti and then heading off to the finals. :D

just arrived in vienna. wanna be back in berlin. :( :(
had a really good time visiting a really good friend who's working in berlin right now (but is actually from vienna as well) and playing a lot of footbag. :)

yesterday overall i didn't play so well, but nevertheless had a few really good runs and hit a decent combo and a new record:

barfly>torque>pdx blender

new unique toe shuffle record (10): smear>magellan>ss smear>smear>ss smear>fear>ss fear>fear>ss fear>fairy legover>hand catch

(i competed in shred30 as well and neither did really bad nor really good. curious what my score was...)

really feeling like posting these days...

not so much to report from yesterday's session with alex and flo, that will be my one and only session for the week :
-one pretty good warm-up string that was pdx whirl>ss butterfly rpt (8 contacts)>pdx whirl x4>pdx whirl>whirl rpt (another 8 contacts)
-pixie legover rpt>fairy legover rpt (not good, but if i add that to my shuffle combo, that would make 13 unique toe shuffle contacts (hopefully i'll hit that soon)
-flip pdx blender
-pdx whirl>pdx blender>pdx whirl

i've really been thinking whether i should go to worlds this year or not. i'd have the money since i'm saving all my money for travelling, but with that amount of money i could go to africa or asia for a month which sounds a lot nicer. but then on the other hand, missing worlds also sucks... :?

.
.
and haven't hit a new trick for a while.
the newest trick i hit was whirr! so any ideas what new tricks i could go for?

Have you hit:

-whirling swirl
-paradon/barfly swirl
-mobius
-paradox torque
-witch doctor
-ps whirl

?

Just a few ideas that follow more or less logically from your latest posts. If these are no good... well I haven't seen a video of you in aaaaages, so I don't exactly know where your game is right now. :o

hi Verena, I really like your toe shuffle runs, have you tried pixie symp mirage or symp dlo? they might be good in runs if you do symposium mirage. As for some new moves (I have no idea what you are hitting)mabye pixie eggbeater or atomic gyro mirage, actually it would be great to see someone from outside Australia hit neutron smasher, good luck :).

Just finished a video from last session, where I mostly played alone. Not too good runs but some decent combos. I just felt like making a video :)

Check it out here!!!

Turn up the volume :!:

I'd also like to see a pixie eggbeater of you, Verena :D
I guess I will challenge you with some spinning tricks next time!

Verena, instead of learning a new trick, I challenge you to hit a set (Unless you can already hit it)

Whirling/Blazing set

Yeah, you definitely should do it more often.

Finally we made a new video featuring Verena and me. Check out the Video section. Our last video was 1,5 years old 8O

After our filming session I played a bit alone and managed to hit a BLENDER for the first time. I thought this move will never get into my head/legs. I'm seeing some new 5adds coming in the near future :)

anyways, its 31st of dec. 7 pm and i still do not know where I'm going tonight :?

here are my new-year-footbag-resolutions:

-5 fearless
-double blender
-15 unique toe shuffle
-finally learn spinning
-get good at stepping
-barflyx4 (still have to learn flipside )
-atomsmaher>atomsmasher
-tatw (that's actually a trick i wanna hit before i stop playing)
-play footbag at least three times a week (should be pretty hard considering the upcoming exams :()

yepp. there's actuallly a lot more i wanna hit. now i just need to find some time to play some footbag...

i'm really happy how our new video turned out. my strings are very crappy on it and i didn't play super good on the video, but it's the first video in almost two years. so, people should watch and comment it.

nice resolutions.

mine would be:
- attending at least as much tourneys as last year. last years tournaments were 5: (Sunshred footbag open, Footbag & Disc Opening, European Footbag Championships, World Footbag Championships+Berlin Footbag Summer, Austrian Footbag Championships)
- 5 fearless sounds good and doable :)
- a good shred 30 score, maybe 180
- play A LOT, especially in summer
- having fun while playing and don't get frustrated when it's not going as good as I want it to be
- staying a non-smoker and drink less
