YES.

Two 5hour batteries and a wall charger have arrived. I am now super-camcorder-enabled. Now I can pretty much have my camcorder with me at all times for whatever event I go to!

I dropped about 1800 dollars on a brand new system yesterday. Some people were wondering why I wasn't going to Chicago...and that's pretty much the main reason. Financial priorities, y'know?

That said, I'm still struggling to set it up. Right now, I'm in the process of formatting one of my 320 GB hard drives. I bought two, but it's being a bitch about the RAID setup I'm gunning for.

23% and counting. I figure I've got about 2.5 hours left of formatting to do.

It's a painfully slow process, but when this baby is up and running it will edit audio and video like no other.

(indirectly good news for all of you video lovers)

Oh man!

I want harddrives so bad. My brother picked up a 500 gig external for under $200 on boxing day! I've had so much raw video stuck on my computer for years and I can't get rid of it because my DVD-authoring software has been acting up

(which means I have a big pain in the ass trying to make new videos...)

Hey...what are you doing with your old video stuff? (Did you buy a new camcorder????)

I'm pretty stoked about this month's online competition. I think my combo is...JUST there. It's not flawless, but I think it's there.

I'm working two jobs now, saving for school in '08. I've never had two jobs at once before, so I guess we'll see how it goes. My general plan is to work my freaking buns off for a full year and save whatever I can in that timespan. I'm a generally frugal person, so I think I should do alright for myself.

Well, it's there if you count xdex.
