Daily Routine (Award Winning Short Film)

Like last year we applyed in a film festival, but this year our film (Daily Routine) won the first prize in the top category of short films.

This film was ready in 2006 September, but we didn't want to post it until it is translated to English. Now the subtitle is ready, so please don't hesitate to post your comments on this video.
It's a kind of 'Ars Poetica' of sports (footbag).

In our hometown, GyÅ‘r, Hungary it was screened to about 10.000 people at New Years' Eve. It was the main show before the fireworks

That was a really cool film man! Great camera work and editing. I haven't watched it with the subtitles yet because I wanted to see if I could "feel out" the mood and such and it seemed to be more along the lines of an inspirational or self-analyzing type of film. I loved the camera work, especially the bit where the one shredding has the camera, kind of like you're looking at it in the perspective of the player. I can see that the award was well earned.

Awesome shred too!

**Edit: Just read the subtitles. Wonderful. It is indeed very inspiring. I really enjoyed it. Make another!

If you use mplayer, just put the subtitle file in the same folder as the movie file and mplayer will automatically include the subtitles.

If you use VLC, there is an option in one of the menus for you to specify an external subtitle file.

If you aren't using one of these two movie players, you should be.

Hey Lurko, its really awsome that I found this post, and really interesting because I don't do a lot of looking around on modified.
I shred a bit and like footbag and my dad is from Budapest!!!

WOW, this feature was spectacular. the editing was beautiful, and the slo-motion made the video understandable to non-players. some of those big combos were intense! thanks a lot for letting us see this, and congratulations on your aware.

this is such a great video! I'm working with Lurko to make a "proper" EST (english subtitles) version for those who can't get the subtitle file to work. Shouldn't be much longer. It's really worth it IMO.

I loved it - you don't see such vids often, and it's great to see all the well though up and planned scenes. The narration was cool too. Props for winning the competition I think you deserved it
