There's a reason there isn't a thread about it yet. Please let this page die.

The reason is that neither Stephen nor I have the vast amount of time it takes to organize a tournament and beg people to show up and beg even more people to donate stuff (an especially big pain when one of the tournament guests asks for more donation in mid-event). Then running and judging and passing out money and all that is a pain too.
So we're not really sure if there will be a CSS this year.

You gotta do what you gotta do. But if you do end up having it, Evan Gatesman and I are planning on being there.

No, I don't play soccer. Yes, there are competitions. 4 years. Lots of practice.

I understand how it is running a popular tournament, but not necessarily having the time to do so. Especially since Colorado doesn't even have as many shredders as it did when CSS first started, there aren't as many people to help put the show on.
Thanks Brad and Stephen, and whoever I dunno for CSS 7 and I understand if ya'll don't have it this year.
But ya should if ya can.

hold your horses. I still have a NUT load of cool prizes to give away, so something will still happen. I just really don't have time right now. So we may be looking at a spring fling kind of thing. Something a little less formal than in years passed.

Spring! Yeah, bitch. I may make it yet. I will be in Guatemala and won't be able to make it if it happens in late February, but Spring? I am down.sb wrote:hold your horses. I heard about this amazing new invention scientists have come up with just recently. You get on it and it takes you to far away places in a fraction of the time it would take in a car. They can even go over mountains and water. I think they call them, "planes". They can actually fly, it's amazing.ObArA'BaRs wrote:To far to drive
I'm not sure if they're available yet, but it's worth a try.
