been busy with work and school so I havent had a lot of time to kick.

today all I had to do was study and work on a paper. So I did and had 2 sessions also.

spinning ducking butter > string
spinning ducking mirage > string
blurry whirl > pdx torque bs
matador > pdx torque
double over down swirl
blur > paradon midstring
food bsos
whirlwind > string
pixie muted swirl
gyro osis > zooming clip > spinning clip > spinning butter
double spinning clipper
49 bops, then next string 54 bops
whirlygig bs
pdx blender bsos
matador > sumo > phoenix
almost had a few different 4 fearless links (matador > sumo > phoenix > pdx blender off foot, phoenix > ripped warrior > blurry whirl > ps whirl)

im not really happy with where my game is. Im hitting cool stuff I just done feel like a strong player. my flip toe really needs work.

So I switched back to lavers, and the only pair I have that arent demolished are my original pair of lavers. Been playing aweomse in them. I plan on getting a brand new pair for x-mas tho and then playing in those.

Today I went to flint and played competive whirlyball ( www.whirlyballmichigan.com ) for the first time. Its a lot more fun than when you play at a party. I feel like I learned a lot, I could only get my ass kicked by these really good players for so long.

been working my ass off. but now im loaded so its all good.

new bags make me happy.

so a lot has gone on recently and my life has changed a lot.

first off, NYJ was amazing. Thanks to CIC and everyone who helped make it an awesome time (everyone who was there) I was so sore for the next couple of days that I could barely walk, and I didnt kick for a week.

When I got home from NYJ my new lavers where at my house so I modded them out. new lavers are kinda hard to play with, I am having some trouble getting used to them. I bet they just need to break in some.

When I was in chicago for NYJ I got a phone call from one of my good friends, he had some good news for me. We got approved for our apartment, and we decided to start moving on the 2nd. So the next couple of days I packed up most of my stuff and when the 2nd came we signed the lease and moved in.

So its been just about 2 weeks of living on my own, and I love it. We have almost everything we need now, all i can think of is a vaccuum and a silverwear divider.

I started the new semester and all of my classes are really good. My environmental science professor is really cool, he starts each class with a joke, and although they are really corny its cool that hes nice.

I also just donated my hair to locks of love. so now I have really short hair, I will post a picture soon but i cant right now becuase my computer is fucked up and until i get it fixed i cant post any pics.

Im gonna write more for nyj but for right now this is all im gonna do.

no footbag

worked a lot last week, school wasnt so bad. Didnt have much homework and no exams. But just couldnt find the time to get to kick.

I still have to get a book for my sociology class, but the bookstore has been sold out of it. and I have 2 exams next week in that class and no book. it sucks

my apartment is pretty kick ass. If anyone wants to come and shred I have plenty of crash space and a really comfortable couch.

yesterday a work there was a party of about 30-40, 20-25 year old foreign nanny's. About 80% of the nannys where really hot. like not just average hot, really really hot. I was sad when the left and didnt tip well.

I need to get my pc fixed.

Mama Kulczyk says,
"Sonny, you stay away from those really hot girls. The lesson here is that they will always leave you wanting more as they callously walk out of your life. Why don't you settle down with a nice girl like your second cousin Louelle?"
"I contend we are both atheists, I just believe in one fewer god than you do. When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours."

half.com sells text books really cheap and they ship fast... maybe something like that could help... you could either do that or photo copy someone else's book till your bookstore gets more...

fuck nannies that dont leave good tips.
...then again ive done my share of bad tipping.

FOOTBAG

did a little barefoot playing this morning, just really basic stuff. clipper, atw's both ways, pickups, legovers, and pixie sets but with no downtime stuff. It was in my apartment on the second floor so I was trying to keep it real low contact, but it was still cool.

worked on a lot of drills today, and some combos. And I think I even hit a few new ones

whirl > schmoe > toe whirl bs
schmoe > ss dlo bs

ducks are way better now that I cut my hair

I feel like there was more but I cant remember

I have been doing a lot of drills and working on form and consistancy while im fresh and still have a lot of energy. That way when im schooling something, im practicing on good form and not hitting shit sloppy becuase im tired. In turn making my muscles remember the good form and not the crap ones.

some advice I got from AK

after schooling a bit I worked on some fives,

blurry whirl b2b starting from both sides
ps whirl both sides
blurry drifter both sides
blur > reactor both sides
Void

The Michigan Footbag Organization has been taking about hosting a tournament for a while. We are trying to decide what place to have it at (we have 2 options) but we are looking at having it at the beggining of August. Who Would come? I want to start getting an idea of how many people we would have.

Wait a minute, you cut you're hair!?! Then who has the longes in freestyle footbag? Locks of love sounds like a good idea. I've been considering doing it in the name of our little man Mikey in the MFA. He's got leukemia. Prolly won't do it 'til I graduate college(1 year or so). Either way, I don't know that we look as much like eachother as we used to.

I just hit 10 contact unique tripless. I'm pretty stoked on it.

I had a session tonight that ended up being pretty good, I played for about 2 hours.

stepping clip > blury clip > rpt > sidewalk > ripwalk > rpt
sidewalk > pdx whirl > rpt
whirl > drifter > rpt > whirl war 1
drifter > pdx drifter > rpt off foot
blurry whirl b2b > ps whirl b2b (new fearless record)
blurry whirl > ps whirl > spinning whirl
Tomahawk bs
barfly, paradon, dod, and ddd all in the same string (one side  )

I have been doing barefoot stuff at the end of my session, today is was 30 min of barefoot, lots of work on flip pixie barefoot. its helping out lots.

plo x 6
smear bsos
pixie ss mirage bsos
dimwalk bs
parkwalk bs
dimwalk > blur > rpt

driving in snow sucks.
