Ummm Colts won the last two games against NE and plus this game is going to be at Indy, where the Colts are undefeated this season.

Oh sorry, I meant playoffs. Who cares who won during the regular season. The Pats always beat them in the playoffs. And everyone always rallies around the Colts. This is Peyton's big year! This is it!

Henry you were just learning to walk, but back in 1997 your beloved Green Bay Packers whipped the Patriots asses pretty bad in Superbowl XXXI, even returned one of the kickoffs for a touchdown. It was humiliating. There were times before Brady, the Patriots were not always a dynasty, and some of us Pats fans have been waiting patiently for this... decade

Are you kidding? i watched every second of that superbowl. It was the 96 season, the game was played in 97. 97 season we got upset by elway. I know the patriots havent always been a dynasty. Good try though. Of course when i said people "always" pick the patriots, im talking about recently, as in after their first super bowl win, (2001?). Belicheck is an asshole dressed as a homeless man. Couldnt even shake his old assistants (Mangini's) hand after a game, and when he finally grows the balls (meaning he won the game, instead of losing the first time) to shake mangini's hand he has to assault a cameraman. When Belicheck and the Patriots show some class, i may or may not respect them. Over the past few weeks its just one thing after another. Belicheck not shaking mangini's hand, belicheck shoving the cameraguy, Colvin mocking Merriman at centerfield after getting the game handed to them by the chargers.

Back when i learned to walk. what a joke. Just because you are upset that i dislike your beloved patriots doesnt mean that you have to pretend you dont know my age. For the record, im 17. I guess i must have had no motor skills if i was just learning to walk at the age of 9

Oh and just for the record HG, I'm not like a "Patriots fan". I'm really not a fan of any team. It's just over the past several seasons when the Pats and the Colts had to meet before a Superbowl, every commentator and sports writer hyped up Manning to go all the way, and then they'd get shut down by the Pats. Heck, I like Peyton. He's an awesome quarterback. But the Colts have yet to prove themselves against the Playoff Pats. Let's see how they fare this weekend.

...Either way it's always the game of the season that I can't wait to watch. Brady vs. Manning. Belichick vs. Dungee. Pats vs. Colts in Indy for the Championship. Doesn't get much better than that.

I was watching Inside The NFL tonight on HBO and one of the longtime hosts, Dan Marino, has picked against the Patriots falsely in 7 playoff games (2 Superbowls and 3 Conference Championships respectively). I'm sure some of that has to do with his own history with the Pat's, but still, it isn't necesarilly always a good idea to pick against them. As a Seahawk's fan, I don't give a shit much what happens between NE and IND, but the Patriot's are a proven winning team, and as a football fan I have to respect that about them. They have a great chance in any football game they play in, no matter what.

Still I'm picking the Colts. Whoever asked who cares if they got beat twice in regular season, don't be foolish, because it mattter's and shows particuliar things about teams and their playing abilities and how the differ from season to season. Indy's offense now has a tremendous advantage over the Patriots O with some of their losses, and Indy has never really had an advantage like that before. The Pat's strength has shifted pretty strongly to their defense on the other hand. Of course what everyone wants to know is if Indy's defense can stand up for the third straight playoff game, against Brady, who is efficient with anybody and everybody on his team. I am officially, as of the night before the game, on the bandwagon though. Bob Saunders is my man. Still, don't call me an idiot if the Patriot's win, I'm by no means counting them out.

And with that pussyfooting, here's my big prediction. Chicago is going to get fucking rolled by the Saints. And I'm not even saying that because the Seahawk's lost to the Bear's last week (I think). Deuce is going to make their overrated front 7 look absolutely silly, and with Colston, Henderson, and Horn as receivers (Also Bush, who is as potent in the slot as he is behind the line) it's going to be mayhem for Chicago's defense. As much as I wish they were, the Seahawk's aren't the same team the Saint's are. Also, expect a return to Grossman's shitty play, but more than that, expect The Saints O to drop bombs all night. I'm going to predict a score of 37 > 17 in New Orlean's favor.

i disagree on the pats prediction, i think the pats just always prepare well for big games that they need to win, like you did mention, and i think the hype and peyton's track record against the pats will be enough to give the pats the edge. i guess we'll see in a few hours.
but i DO agree on your bears/saints prediction. bears are overrated and had the easiest schedule of any team during the regular season. the saints are an all-around solid team with a fairly balanced offense and the one-two punch of duece and reggie will be enough to batter the bears defense and keep the ball in the hands of the saints offense. at least thats what i think. again, we'll know in even less hours. i'll be watching both games.

so far the saints are doing pretty poorly. because they have no running game at all, and the three turnovers so far havent helped. its funny that so far the only completely successful drive the bears have had so far was the one where they handed the ball to thomas jones like 8 times in a row and rex grossman didnt even try to throw it.

I'm officially done with this thread, unless the Colts win today and regain me some pride. Bears still are a shitty team with no offense, and are going to get eaten up like choclate candies by either of the AFC title bearers. I think NE might have the best odds against them in any case though.

I think Rex Grossman kind of prooved himself in this game. He had an average game but he made good plays when he had too. This is exactly what chicago needs from him.

I am now officially jumping on the chicago band waggon, If Indy can beat the patriots I think chicago will win the big one. They won't beat the Patriots.
