No footbag over the weekend. Friday I got really sick and was throwing up all day. Plus a few cases of the runs. During that I went to Saskatoon. I was planning on filming saturday night for the online comps, but that never happened. I wasn't feeling up to playing. I wasn't sick, but my stomach still wasn't settled. Yesterday I had an Assembly all day and then drove back home. I could've played when I got home but I was beat. And was too busy playing the new DS game I bought. Elite Beat Agents. It's sweet. IT's a rhythm action game where you tap to the beat. I am enjoying it immensely, but I have no rhythm! Oh well. I had a really lazy day so far today. At one point I got ready for work, but then got a call saying there was nothing for me to do today. I need to get a new job. I think I'm gonna play kicky bag tonight. I may even try to film my entrys for the online comp. I dunno. IT's hard to film in my house. Plus, I might not be prepared after three days off and not feeling one hundred percent. We'll see.

I didn't play last night. But I just tried to play this morning. I'm not really a morning person though, so you can guess how that went...

I put on my new shorts that I bought over the weekend. I was really hoping that they'd work, but... NOPE! They are short enough, which is nice, and they are pretty tight to my legs so they don't interfere with my dexing window much like my blue shorts do, but this tightness causes them to interfere with my leg movements. Bummer. I noticed this when I bought them, but figured for four bucks I'd give them a try. They don't work. I really liked them other than that. I guess my search continues.

As for my shred today... 12 infinities. Stepping wasn't working at all. Hit a new move I've been working on lately a few times. Came SUPER close to my sick 3. That's it. Short session. I hadn't eaten yet so I think my energy was way down. Plus it's morning. Plus I haven't played in three days. Plus I'm just making excuses.

Played for an hour and a half today. It was fun. After I warmed up I hit 21 infinities. Cool. Then I started working on my Online comp entries. I hit my Sick Three for the first time and hit a few of the Sick One's I was thinking about. I decided to film, so I reorganized the furniture and broke out the digital camera. When my mom got home I asked her to film for me, but she said she <b>had</b> to pick up her fruit in Animal Crossing and proceeded to grab my DS.

So, I set up the tripod. I don't have much room on my card so I would do a few attempts, then erase that file and start over. The second time around I hit my sick three and ran back to the camera only to find that it wasn't recording!

It took forever, but I got it again. Then I decided what sick one I would do and tried it. I hit first try and then cleaned it up a little. Then I did some tiltless strings. My first one was 9 contacts. mostly three's actually. At some point I worked on stepping a little bit, but it didn't work to great. Oh well.

I gotta send my vids to Nic.

I'm pretty excited about footbag right now. I have two bags on the way to me. I'm happy to get to test a bag for the first time. I plan on doing it justice, but I'm also really happy to be getting my first non-Kingston footbag froma modified stitcher. The design I picked looks really sweet and it'll be my first spikey bag. I'm looking forward to seeing how it feels and plays. Erik said some people find it a bit more rolly than normal bags, but that should keep me honest and prevent laziness. I like that.

In other news. I lost my job today. Just before i left for lunch one of the bosses (a good friend of mine) came over and told me I was being laid off. I filled out my time card and neaded for home. I new it was coming, but it still sucked. Before i went home I got comfort food to dull the pain and a newspaper to search for jobs. I think I'm gonna go to Lloyd and work so I shouldn't have any problem finding something. EVERYONE is looking for help there. It will mean driving a half hour for work, but I don't even mind. My girlfriend lives there, so I'll get to see her more.

PS Does anyone read this?

It's not necessary to post in blogs, just check your views every now and then to see if people are reading it.

Props on hitting your sick 3 and sick 1 on camera, I know how hard that is!

I can't really relate to being laid off, but man I bet it sucks. Sorry, man.

YAY! Thanks. Ya, the laid off thing kinda sucks. But I just printed off some updated resumes and I plan to find a job tomorrow. Seriously, I'm not too worried. There are tons of jobs in Lloyd.

I guess I should look at the views from time to time. I know I read alot of blogs and don't post in them much. Maybe I should post in them more?

OK . . . so I don't know if anyone noticed my absence for the last couple months, or my random posts recently, but it's been a long while since I played. I put my lavers on tonight. Used a spazbag that I got to test and hadn't even kicked yet. I like.

I mostly just kicked. Actually mostly just knee kicked. I wanna be a world record holder! I did try some of my old tricks and I can do pretty much everything I always could. I even hit PS Whirl. Perhaps not a good idea, but cool that I hit it nonetheless. Stamina is gonna be a pretty big issue. I couldn't string much together at all, but I think that'll come back in time.

And now, onto more personal matters:

I'm engaged. It makes me really happy. But my fiance's parents are being pretty stupid. They basically think it's the worse thing to happen in the world. That part sucks. I think we're gonna end up eloping. Last night her dad told us that he wouldn't come to our wedding. Her mom later told her that she wouldn't go if her dad didn't. We're gonna look at an apartment sometime this week and probably take it. I'll move in in March and then a few weeks later we'll elope and she'll move in. She'll basically be sacrificing her family to be with me, but she says it's what she wants. I feel bad about it.

I think one of my last posts was about being laid off of work. Well I'm working as a computer assoiciate at Staples Business Depot. I love it. The guys I work with are fun, I get to talk about computers all day and drool over the new systems. I get to check out all the new gadgets. I get discounts and even gift cards! It's awesome. Plus the job is in Lloyd so I get to see my girl more often.

That's great that you are engaged! Sad that you are gonna start off on such bad terms with the parents, because, well, that will haunt you until the day they die.

Did you just do one thing to massively screw everything up, or are they being the traditional parents who just hate every boyfriend that walks into their dear sweet little girls life, that naturally no one on earth would be good enough for?

It's been the whole thing with they just don't want their little girl to grow up and in general they don't like me. BUT, I also messed up hardcore when I didn't ask her parents before I asked her to marry me. I guess that's something people still do . . . ?? I think it's lame. It was like they didn't see it coming or something. I dunno, but basically they have no respect for me and I'm a big dissapointment and their daughter can do SOO much better than me.

Yo sen! fairy legover is stylish. And I definitely noticed your absence... you were one of the few people who read my blog back in the day. I'm back in the game too man, but I injured my ankle and so I'm on break for a while... it's been almost a month now. Probably at least another, sadly. Anyways man, glad to see you're back - I'll look forward to your posts. Oh, congrats on getting engaged and I know all about the gf's parents hating it - happened to me .. four years ago. And then we broke up.

Hey TJ, thanks for the shout out. So far, it sounds like we're looking at June 2 for a wedding date. I'd really like to just elope as soon as we get a place, so we'll see.

Ok, it's been awhile. And it will probably be awhile since my next post. The reason for my absence? Mostly I just haven't been playing. That's why I didn't post since like January. But more recently I started playing a bit, however I don't have internet right now.

You see, I <b>finally</b> moved out of my mom's place. You know how I used to live a small town. Well now I live in an even smaller town! I couldn't get highspeed internet even if I could afford it! Living in my own place has opened up the opurtunity to have a small shred spot. At least untill I get a kitchen table. My place is super small, but I love it. I don't have any conveinces I'm used to. No internet, no computer, no tv (I get four channels, but two are the same as the other two). Not having tv has led to me watching all my shred videos again. And again. lol Anyways, don't expect me around too often. I'll miss certain aspects of this, but lately I haven't been to excited about this place.

I'm getting married on June 2. I can't wait. My fiance is awesome! I love her so much. She keeps surprising me in new ways and I love them all them all.

Oh, with my new place, I know drive an hour to work. That's an hour going 120 km/h. It sucks, but it's alright. I really like my job and the drive gives me time to clear my head and listen to some tunes. It means I often get home at around eleven O'clock. Not exactly time to start shredding. Not for me anyway.
