how are the second version of the quantum shoes going to be for people who have bad crank? I'd be interested to get a pair if they have a good toe surface and are good for bad crank clippers.

like i said, the basic setup of the shoe is not going to change. so the qm02 will not be crank'o'matic. we deliberately didn't implement a sole profile like the gunits because we feel that working on your crank is a part of freestyling and ultimately helps you develope a good form and style. this is why we only made the sole profile slightly convex to prevent rolloff that is sometimes a problem with the lavers. but no more.
i know opinions differ on the subject of how much a shoe should help you towards improving faster. the opinion of the planetfootbag team on this issue however is that we believe freestyle is not only about hitting moves but also about how you hit them. so we decided against a shoe that would give people a clipper "for free" and possibly lead to sloppy styles..

here's a question,

Are they going to make q's with an air type sole? You know how Nike has the air bubble stuff in the sole, like that. I think that would help heaps with the shock to knees n' stuff when doing big landings.

They already have little holes in the sole which, I think, is suppost to help with support and shock

the plan is to earn enough money with the quantums to be able to design and produce a *perfect* footbag shoe including customized cushioning and support and stuff. but this might take another 5 years or so...

hey, i just ordered myself a pair of the white ones

i was going to wait until the next generation but i read you were trying to get them sold to get the money for the next ones and i think its awesome what you guys are doing for the sport so i decided to support you guys now

I also wanted a pair of shoes that looked good (modded g-units arent very attractive) for wearing around and indoor shred. Super excited.

I was just wondering what the shipping time was like, i tried to find it on planet footbag but it doesnt give me any estimate of shipping time. I live in California, USA.

quantums are 60 euros and shipping is either 12 or 22, so your total will be either 72 or 82 euros which is around 93 and 106 us dollars. its a lot but theyre doing a lot for the sport so i think its a fine sacrifice.

aah! bigger sizes! lol i can't buy quantums until they start making em bigger. i wear size 15's, and the biggest size there is 10.5, which is about equal to a size 11 laver, except i wear size 14's that are almost too small. heelllppp!!!

my quantums are almost dead after 6 months of shred.

I'll make a complete review in the coming week with all I loved and hated about them, with pictures of what can happen to your quantums..

This is just a quick note to let everyone in North America know that I've already placed my order for the Quantum II. I'll be the sole US supplier for this shoe for the foreseeable future, and will be brining a minimum of 50 pairs with me to Worlds. It's still in the production stage and is not expected for at least two months. I'm having my shoes shipped directly from the supplier to reduce costs and expedite shipping time. My price will be directly in line with PlanetFootbag, but shipping will be less. I'll probably include the shipping price in the shoe, since I offer a $4.00 flat rate shipping right now.

Anyhow, the exact cost and arrival time are still unknown, so save your questions about it. I'm going to get myself involved in the next round of shoes for the Quantum III if at all possible. I feel that I can offer some sound advice on the structural/support aspects of the shoe, since I do have a structural engineering license, and this is something I'm passionate about designing. I read in an earlier post something about 5 years for the *perfect* model... I fully intend to support Planet Footbag's efforts and will be working to expedite this process. IMHO, There will never be a "perfect" footbag shoe - there can always be a better one
