G-Unit Insoles
To everyone that uses the goonits with the stock insoles:
did you cut some of the insole off? like the instep part?
If pic's are needed I'll put them up when I get the chance.
Thanks.
Josh

Yeah, you have to cut some part of your insoles. If you don't get rid of it, your insteps are gonna be sticking out.
Here's how I usually do the "insole mod":

Cut along the black curved line, and make sure not to rush so that you don't go too far.

That cut is way too big. You just need only to trim along the side as much as necessary, so that the cut will be adjacent to the sole's instep.
Even so, you don't even need to cut so much if you use the G-unit's stock insole, since it doesn't jut out so much like the Spenco's.

I ended up cutting mine down to about even with the instep, and it already makes a BIG difference!

well be really careful with these modifications. IF you cut it too much and that you foot don't have a good support your ankle will twist a little bit on the inside wich, at long term, can lead to some knee and back problems. Myself i started to fell some small back pain after these mod. (no i didn't cut my insole that much haha
