Brian Cooper came to town this evening to shred with the ShrEdmonton crew. It was epic. For me, it started off a bit slow but later picked up real well. My right knee is a bit sore due to overcompensating for the left / weak knee.

Kevin hit +32 contacts of pixie tricks into a run and Rubberman into Rubberman with Blizzards and Omelettes. Toe Beast is in the near future as well.

Rory was his consistant self, throwing in lots of tight quantum tricks midstring and just overall playing decently. Assassin > Phoenix > Blur x 2 was also hit.

Brian was playing well it seems. Spinning Osis > Janiwalker was tight, Pdx Blenders looked way too easy and Ripsteins that made my eyes bleed (because they were so good looking :P).

Umm... like I said above, I started off a bit slow but once I got into my mind set I started playing swell.

- My 10th Beast
- Rubberman x 4
- Blur > Predator > Legbeater > Blur > Predator off the foot :/
- Bedwetter > Dimwalk x 2 > Fog > Dimwalk x 2
- Blurry Drifter > Pdx Egg > Tapdown bsos (wanted to repeat it though)
- Rev. Swirl x 29 on right side, 25 on left
- Shred 30 with one drop
- A few good strings

I dropped a lot of things that I shouldn't have (grrr Pdx Whirl), but that's to be expected when you've had 5 sessions in 9ish weeks. Maybe Tuesday is my next session, we'll see how tired I am and how my knees are feeling.

Hey Byrin!

You`re soo good! It`s amazing how you improved in one year!
You hit good tricks bsos, with a pefret style, props.

You should make a longer vid with good editing... that would be cool.

I'm going to bug Kevin to bring his camera to Friday's YMCA sesh since Brian might be coming out again then. We'll see how it goes :)

I know I'd definitely love to see an updated ShrEdmonton video, and ESPECIALLY if our special guest Brian could be featured too :)

Thanks guys. I'll give Andrew's Uberman drill a shot, but I definitely have to work on the Preds and Fusions first. That'd be my triple record if I hit it too :D.

I ended up kicking today, as promised, and it felt so good. I hit a few things I didn't think I could, some things that I've been itching to hit before I was injured, and a few new surprises. I really needed a good session since the weekend left me feeling like shit, and this helped to take my mind off of things for a while.

It was like a breath of fresh air in a room filled with cigerette smoke.

- weakside Ducking Rev. Swirl
- Gyro Rev. Swirl > Spinning Rev. Swirl x 2 8O
- Pdx Egg > Egg > ss Egg > ss Butterfly x 4
- Pdx DLO > DLO > ss DLO > ss Butterfly x 4
- Whirl War 1 x 8
- Dive > Duck > Dive > Duck > Weave > Zulu > Weave > Zulu > Dive > Zulu > Dive > Zulu > Weave > Duck > Weave > Duck > Dive > Dive > Dive > Duck > Duck > Duck > Dive > Dive > Dive > Duck > Duck > Duck > Weave > Weave > handcatch and out of breath

I also drilled Pdx Whirls more, some shuffle stuffs and at the end did a few consec Toe Blurs. I got six, but I know I can do more. One and a half hours well spent :).

:D

Had a sesh with Kevin this evening after a chest work-out at the YMCA. May have played too hard, but it was pretty decent.

Stoked about tomorrow's shred with Brian and the camera :D

- Pixie Fusion (first 4 dex :D:D)
- weak Goliath (maybe the second time I've hit it?)
- Assassin > Skull Smasher > Assassin
- Skull Smasher > Skull Smasher
- Tomahawk > Rev. Swirl > Tomahawk > Rev. Swirl
- Assassin > PLO > Assassin > PLO > Assassin > Pixie ss Mirage > Assassin > Pixie ss Mirage > Assassin > Pixie Pickup > Assassin > Pixie Pickup > Assassin > Pixie ss Illusion > Assassin
- Atom > Pred > Atom > Atom > Pred
- Fog > Predator > Legbeater > Fog > Predator

I almost hit a new ducking, diving, weaving and zulu drill as well, which I'll probably be able to pull off tomorrow evening. Kevin was playing pretty decent, with one crazy noteworhty accomplishment of hitting Sailing Symp Eggbeater in socks 8O .

Had an early hour-and-fifteen-minute light shred this morning before work. It felt pretty good. I've acquired shin splints from playing too hard last week, so I've been taking it easy these days. Hopefully they go away soon.

- 24 contact Ducking, Diving, Weaving and Zulu drill
- Ducking Mirage x 19 (right side), x 15 (left side)
- 7 contacts of Mobius > Rev. Swirl
- 7 contacts of Dyno > Rev. Swirl
- Mobius > Spinning Blender bs
- 73 contact BOP run

Kevin did end up bringing his camera to Friday's sesh, but unfortunately we didn't end up filming because A) Brian couldn't make it, B) both our shins were hurting, C) we had about twenty kids come and take up most of our kick time and D) four square.

Maybe next time.

Had a pretty decent shred last night. Brian came out for a bit, so we whipped out the camera and got a few strings on tape. Let's see what happens with it :)

Had a pretty good kick with Rory, despite my shin really acting up today. Bah :(. I barely did any shuffle this session, and worked more on just doing downtime components instead.

- Your Mom
- Mobius > Rev. Swirl > Mobius > Spinning Blender
- Void > Rev. Swirl x 2
- Blurriest > Blurrier bs
- Muted ss Toe Torque > Gyro Legover x 2 > run with Torque > Rev. Swirl > Gyro Clip x 2 > ending with Mobius > Rev. Swirl

I was really getting into the double downs at the end, hopefully when my shin heals up I can start working on them again.
