Ok, so after looking at all the amazing artwork everyones has done, I thought I show some of my own. It's a different type of art. I make chainmaille. Put simply, I take a pair of pliers in each hand and weave metal rings through one another to form a pattern. I've even sold a good many pieces. So far, the longest amount of time I've spent on a single piece was 20 hours. The smaller the size ring, the longer a piece takes. It takes a lot of patience and requires a lot of forearm strength. I've been making chainmaille since January 2005. I've made countless bracelets and necklaces. I've even made a tie and belt. I even made a couple footbags as well. In fact, they are almost the exact pattern as the ones sold on Freedom Footbags, though I didn't even know of Freedom Footbags at the time. Anyways, that's just a little info, here are some of the things I've made, click on the thumbnail for larger pictures. I apologize as some of the pictures are not the greatest of quality):

Thats is siiiiiiick. Creative too, with the ties and the shoelaces, looks fun. How much per bracelet and footbag, if you sell them that is? Im diggin a few of em. Can you give me some info about the byzantine bracelet?
By the way dude how heavy are those vans now lol?
I pmed you back. What would you like to know about the Byzantine though? And the Vans weren't too much heavier as it was just Anodized Aluminum, the did get too worn out to wear though. Those were loyal shoes...
Awesome! I get all of my materials from The Ring Lord. It's in Saskatoon(spelling?), Canada. It's got the best, not to mention largest, selection of materials that I know of. That looks like a very nice bag too! Mine is definitely larger than a golf ball heh. It's about 1/6 of a pound. It's stainless steel, doesn't shred as well as that one probably does though. Is that Aluminum? I fnot, my next guess would have to be Galvanised Steel but it seems a little too shiny for that. What else have you made?
Ok, so this is the first chainmaille footbag I ever made. I made it in 2004 so you can tell it's durable. ; ) It's all stainless steel though so it's heavy. almost 1/6 of a pound. I'm going to be experimenting with sizing it down to golf ball size. It will also be lighter that way.
And here are the two different ring sizes I have currently available. The smaller one is very easy to warp which is the only real downside, with exception to the fact that I have to wear Granny glasses in order to close them up nicely... >_>

If you want to make it smaller you could try the same pattern with smaller rings or try connecting 6 links to the top ring instead of 8.
I never even though of reducing the number of starting rings, thanks man! I was just going to go for less rows. I'll definitely be trying that out soon. I made another bracelet last night for a friend who is leaving for another school tomorrow. I got lucky, it was a perfect fit, no measurements taken beforehand. I really fucked up my wrist more though. I have to wear my brace for at least the next 3 days.
Ok, so Monday night I managed to pump out a last minute piece for a friend who's last day was Tuesday. My wrist was messed up as always but I ate through the pain. My wrist was trashed though afterwards and now I have to wear my brace for the next couple of days. I though it cam out extremely well though given the state of my wrist and the fact that it only took three hours! I also guessed at the size because I didn't want to spoil the surprise and when I put it on her, it was a perfect fit! Anyways, enough rambling. Here it is:
that's really cool. my brother goes to Rhode Island School of Design and for one of his final projects he made a vest out of chainmail...it was really heavy! Keep working on the chainmail footbags!
