Hey. Heres a new variation to mull over (I still haven't given up on the camo though!) The logo is just a beefed up version of the original logo.

Dude, we'd LOVE to host you guys for a sweet weekend shred.

Just give us plenty of notice so that us weekend working warriors have time to book it off!

As for the shirt...

Black, of course, gets my vote, but I had a concept. Blue and White is TML colours, so it's something that will make Toronto stand out. But they're not otherwise my fav. colours at all.

I like the logo on these shirts alot. The solid black/red is awesome, but i also like Josh's idea of the shoutout to the traditional FAT. Either way, the back/logo on these shirts are definetely awesome.

Josh - Although blue and white are the TML colours, i think they are bit over used.

Why would you want FAT in any way related to the Toronto Maple Leafs? XD :P (That black shirt is rad)

I really like the red one.
I also liked the paint drips too from the camo mockup...it kind of adds a little something. I just told you, but I thought I would add a vote for red...

You all know what?

With the paint drips added in, I'll go in for red. I do like black, but red stands out more, garnishes more attention, and won't be as hot in the summer.

Red!

I agree that red would be more comfortable in the summer, but maybe with a white outline instead of black? Also, is 'the' really necessary in front of 'footbag association of toronto'? And even though im not technically fat i would definitely buy a shirt :)

Yes, the "the" doesn't agree with me either = / I would certainly buy a FAT shirt too! ^_^

MIKE!

I love the logo! A beefed up version of the one I drew... though maybe if you rounded the tips it would look "fatter". ;) I think that then it would be perfect.

Yeah I was uneasy about the camo idea because it is too busy. I like the idea of one solid colour more.

I like the red. I don't like the black. Every shirt is black...boooring.

But I have another idea for colours... (btw fuck the TML  )

How about green & white? Like the white & green soled Lavers that some of FAT wore/wear? I love that green, it's not neon but it's like emerald or forest...? It looks awesome with white. I'm not saying the shirts themselves should be green, though that would REALLY stand out and maybe if people like that idea we could do it... but I'm meaning more in the logo. It could be green with a white outline. Or vice versa... I think that the gray is a bit boring. We are a fun club! We are all pretty diverse and individualistic. Let's show that in our club gear. Yes?

Hm... now that I think about green shirts with white logos outlined in black... Or black logos outlined in white... It looks so good in my head. Very... Fresh, for lack of a better word. What do other people think?

Also, I DO like the "The" in front of the club name. We are not "footbag association of toronto" we are THE Footbag Association of Toronto. :D

Mike, awesome job overall. This club really lucked out by receiving such a wicked artist with the drive and ability to create cool things for us. :)

1) Let's give Tom and Peng a pat on the back. The cuddlebags are on their way, and Tom's letting me square up with him when he visits home this month. THANKS TOM!

2) I don't care whether the "The" is there or not. I mean, you want to stay away from 'the' in footbag, right? But then, there's not like there are other FAT's, so we are THE FAT.

3) Green is good idea, Camille. I like it. This shirt is going to be amazing. So what I guess this means is that we're away from black, and now there is discussion between Red and Green. Either is cool, though you all know I like the green... OH! The business cards are green too!

3a) Are the eventual colours going to be treated as the new Official FAT colours?

4) Alex and I played today. There was some good shit going down. He's hitting both Clippers now!

See you all soon!

Cool! I'm happy the shirt design is working for people. I'm up for a green/white/black combo. Green shirts would stand out for sure in a crowd. I like the 'the' as well, so I'm leaving that in. I'm sure no one cares too much about that anyway. I'll add some 'drips' back in too. People seem to like those alot.

I'll mock it up to make sure we're happy then the next step is to decide how many to get made, and in what sizes. Everyone can get a FAT shirt as far as I'm concerned. You don't have to live in TO or be an 'official' member- whatever that means. I'm for sure getting one made for Taishi! I'll see if there is a sizing chart for the shirt model we'll be using. Girls' style shirts will be a slight problem, as the company I use demands a 6 shirt minimum in each style. I'll figure it out though.

--thanks for the cuddlebags Tom and Peng!
--props on the clippers Alex!

This blog always makes me smile. :D

I'll actually be around and shredding this weekend, I promise.

I like both, but prefer the black, just because it matches my shred shorts. :P

Camille wanted the shirt to be green?!! What a shock!!

I'm in for Sunday. Bahen Centre in the late afternoon seems to agree with most people. I'm up for a change in venue though. Did you find any great spots at Ryerson Camille?
