I 'd say hard house is the way to go, but I do love happy hard as well, trance is alright and I just have to be in the mood for jungle.

Some nice Ragga Jungle is the way to go. Congo Natty is my choice for good beats.

Acid stuff, by Aphex Twin.

Trance n Bass stuff, by Concord Dawn. It's like the coolest genre ever thought up.

But if I were to actually vote on the list, I'd probably say Drum n Bass or Trance. Trance is such a big category though. You've got like...everything from Airwave to Sander Kleinenberg to Way Out West to Engelina. I mean, I like trance if it isn't happy to the extent that the audio itself makes you vomit upon contact with your ear drum. Where do you draw the line, you ask? If I vomit, it's too happy.

And god damn man, "Tekno" ?! :P heh

I am a Jungle "Fanatik" (figured from the spelling of Techno that my spelling would be okay). I love Freaky Flow! I also like alot of house stuff. Bad Boy Bill is awsome, and Richard "Humpty" Vision. Progressive house is amazing stuff, but it pretty much sounds like alot of other house tracks if you don't have the ear.

Holy hell, my friend Christian just lent me a Disco Drum'n'Bass CD. It's insanity!!!! Think like...Disco strings and lyrics put to Fast-ass paced drum riffs. It sounds like such a weird combination, but it totally works.

Right now, I'm grooving to Aurora by Concord Dawn. Trance'n'Bass is the best. :)

I like minimalist techno myself - Jeff Mills, Adam Beyer, Fumiya Tanaka, and Richie Hawtin aka Plastikman. Btw, does anyone have Jeff Mills Live at the Liquid Room 2000 on CD? I would pay massive amounts of money for a burned copy - the CD is out of print. I have it on mp3 but it is poor quality. It is one of the best live sets I have heard - the energy is very high throughout.

I like LTJ Bukem too - whatever that genre is. And Laurent Garnier - he rules.
