Thanks for the video. I was really happy to see Andrew and Erik play, considering all the times that it looked like injury would take them out of the sport. It's really inspiring to see that you both still play, and that you both still play at such a high level.

I liked Erik's spinning ducking and double spinning a lot. It's cool you were able to change your game to emulate Ricky so well. I always wanted to, but my body never liked spinning.

Andrew: What's your unique fearless record?

I have to say I was impressed with Rory too. I'd never really seen him play before, but he looks like he has a very solid flipsided foundation. Looking forward to seeing how he progresses in the future.

The one thing I didn't like about the video was the music. I found it so bad I had to turn off the sound. That said, turning off the sound is easy to do, so I guess I prefer bad sound to bad editing. Minor complaint.

Thanks for the vid.

Wicked!
Thanks for noticing, Ken!
I used to be all about the frontside shuffle -- pounding my legs into the ground...

And, yes, Rory was on fire. His consistancy was ridiculous; practically every run was, like, 15-20 contacts of shuffle madness! I personally love how easily he did the assassin > alpine pixie legover drill!

Erik, you'r very good at spinning ducking now. If you are going to shred so hard anyway, shouldn't you just take off the knee braces?

Kamil: I injured myself 2 or 3 years ago (I forget how long it's been now) and stopped playing completely for about a year or half a year because of something in my hip (7+ doctors couldn't tell me; I've thought it was my hip flexor, but recently I've started to think that maybe it's partially my actual bone?). During my injury I somehow developped bad knees, which my family doctor says I was born with; it's some condition where the back of my knee cap grinds away every time I bend my knee, and apparently there is some muscle imbalance where my outter quads are too much stronger than my inner and they pull my knee caps outward. The braces are supposed to keep my knee caps supported and centralized.

Because of my knee problem I'm unable to do most of the tricks that I used to do on a regular basis (pixie sets, whirls, anything high-impact or knee-crank-requiring and fast-moving). I've adapted my style to do mostly-low-impact tricks and stuff, and keep rediscovering moves that don't hurt too much, though my one hip still restricts me a lot even moreso than my knees.

Sam: Thanks. I don't take off the braces because my knees go raw from even the simplest moves :( I wouldn't be able to play at all without them.

I was listening to The Fugees' "Ready or Not" today; it's my favourite song, and it's because I heard it in one of your Oops video (in the background) from way back. It starts with Chris and then pans to Bryan and then you said, "Oops is the best thing in the world" and then I made a video where I parodied that (and got my brother to say, "Hackrifice is the best thing in the world"): http://www.hackrifice.com/shred/readyornotb.wmv
