Which Way do you ATW dex? (without thinking)

Post by jrstubs »

I'm trying to figure out if more people dex in to out than people dex out to in. I think most people dex in to out, but I do out to in. If you read this thread I'm assuming you can do an ATW so, vote, its easier than you think

What im trying to ask is: which way do you do your ATW dex more naturally, or which way you do it without thinking.

Out to in most of the time. I do in to out like a pixie and it tosses off my "flow" much of the time. Probably the reason my barrages still blow goat nuts.

Yeh, I guess, for everybody its different then...When I started to learn atw I didn't even think about which way to learn it, I just learned out to in on both sides. I can do in to out, but I can only hit it 2 out of 10 times lol.

is it weird that for ATW's i find it easier to go in to out, but as far as legovers and pickups, it's easier for me to go out to in[legover]???

peace.

I'm exactly the opposite. Like I mentioned a few posts back I do out to in ATW's but I'm FAR FAR FAR better at pickups than legovers...strange no?

out to in definetaly. i can do datw out to in but ive never hit the other direction. theres been a pool which direction you go for datw, and somebody said out to in is healthier for the body coz its more natural. i tried it and agreed.
i think its also dealing with how you do toe sets. people who like to put the knee inwards will prefer in to out and the other way round. do you agree?

Not weird at all. I can't see a major reason why a certain ATW direction would be easier for everyone, so either one would make sense. Legover, however, is definately an easier dex than pickup. It's more weird that anexthesis (sp?) finds pickup easier than legover ;)

i dunno, i found pickup MUCH easier than legover for the first like 6 months to a year that i played. i could do pickup b2b before i could do a single legover. hell, i still cant do a single legover. ok, everything until that last part was true.

In to out, fo shizza.

With regard to the whole pickup vs legover, obviously the one that you practice most will be easier, but from a pure "difficulty" standpoint, legover is easier because it's 1/2 a dex, versus a pickup which is a full dex.

I personally really, really like pickups. They're fun to throw on the end of any toe move (some of my favorites are smear and muted terrage with a pickup tacked on). :D

Peace.

I think it's because I now prefer legovers and just find them eaiser in general.
