Valentines Day

Post by Guest_1 »

What are you all doing for your significant others?

So far I might get a guitarist to serenade her with me and then take her to my house to cook a dinner together of her favorite foods.

Concluding with flowers, a back rub, and a bathrobe she's been talking about for months.

What are you planning on doing?

Dang. It's a good thing more women don't read Modified or else you'd be getting a lot of guys in trouble.

my gf and i just had our 1 year, so we went big for that. we went to a really nice restaurant and later to see her favorite band play. thank god it's only once a year, i can't afford $250 for dinner. i also got her a bracelet engraved with the number of the bus that we "met" on (long story, and she loves telling it, but i don't have time and you won't read it), so we have decided to keep it low key for val's (to my wallet's joy!) probably a night in, we'll make dinner together, drink some wine, and cuddle in bed till the wee morning hours.

My girlfriend is awesome. She asked for a totally awesome gift (if you must know, PM me, I don't feel the need to get too specific). I'm getting her that and some flowers, and then we are going out on a triple date with 2 other couples.

This will be our 3rd valentines day together :o We've always agreed it's an over rated holiday and always celebrated it lightly.

To all y'all kids out there like Kyle who don't have a significant other, don't sweat it. Valentines day can suck more when you have someone. Case in point 5 or 6 years ago I was trying to impress this chick I had been with only a short while and dropped like $100 on her on valentines day only to be dumped a week later. Stupid stupid stupid. The biggest mistake you can make is attaching too much meaning to this holiday whether you are single or with someone.

It's just a commercial holiday for the flower, candy, greeting card and restaurant industries to boost their income  Don't take it too seriously :o :? :)

You're lame dude. Don't tell me what not to take seriously. Valentine's Day is awesome, and for the last two I have had great Valentine's. I should be in inpatient come this years, but that shouldn't stop me with some little cokehead cutiepie.

someone at work wrote a love poem and left it on my keyboard, "To Jamieson, Luv Leo"

I thought it was leo being funny cause that's the kind of thing she'd do, she's a crackup. So I left one on her keyboard too. It wasn't her though. Now everyone's going on about our "workplace romance" haha. It's so funny. She's like 40. We even turned up at work at exactly the same time this morning so everyone's like "stayed over at jamieson's did you?" haha.
