css* the downlow:

Post by brian relly »

Ok guys. Honestly, this has been a pretty turbulent year for me, and I just can't handle the CSS responsibility. so, CSS* will be happening in 2008 - how fitting. '

So I was still planning on having a little jam, just because I still had a nutload of planetootbag merchandise to give away. Instead, having talked extensively with Jan and a few other people, I will become the regional hub for planetfootbag sponsorships. So, if you're hosting a small jam in the area (I guess this really just means North America) and you're requesting sponsorship from PF and they like you, you'll probably be referred to me and figure something out. Presently I'm going to send about a quarter of my stockpile to a little shindig in the northeast.

So as a result I've got a pretty hefty sponsorhip set up for next year, which will be pretty sweet. I also have a year to plan which eliminates a lot of the fiscal bullshit generally [tournament directors] have to deal with. I'm looking at a killer venue and other cool shit.

Just know that I proudly represent the CLASS OF '08(!) so it would be pretty homo of me to *not* make this the best tournament you've ever attended.

Yes! I am now the reigning css champion for another glorious year!

Have it in the summer and I'll come.

i've been thinking about it. Screw winter, right? I just wonder if it would be in conflict with any other big US jams in... say, early June-ish? who knows.

If you want to do late May or early June I can definitely help. This semester is too crazy for me until then, but this will be my first Summer in 3 years where I won't have to take classes. :D
