Just saw it, I really liked the very intro, in the coffee shop, how the camera's focus was changing very organically. And the 'happy ending' was nice. Also, the scene where Wolverine was developing the 5XX bit encryption was great. What's my motivation for this scene?

I loved that movie. While at some points I was a pussy, (I don't like the part where the policeman is pulling the chick away then she explodes, I keep picturing myself in that position for some reason...), everything else was pretty sweet. John Travolta was perrfect for that role. I like the ending the most. "What the eye sees, the mind believes." Great stuff.

Yeah it was entertaining. For some reason I haven't been able to watch it a second time and keep interested though.

Like, was that guy in the cellar John Travolta's identical twin? Was that just the 'dummy' of Halle Berry getting shot? Like, we saw it happen though...

No no Jorden. That "twin" was a dummy of Travolta. If you remember Travolta's character saying "What the eye sees, the mind believes." that is what was so significant about it. He faked both his death and Halle Berry's. In the end when you see Hugh Jackman's flashback when he's identifying Travolta's corpse, he remembers a person walking down the staircase, that was Travolta. Does that make sense now?

Loved loved LOVED this movie. Have seen it many times, it kicks arse, and yeah, so does halle berry's rack. Although as someone said, it's not the best bit.

'Gabrielle Shear' was an ex mossad agent that john travolta stole his identity, so that he could fake his death. Halle Berry's character would've been wearing a bullet proof jacket.

The opening scene is so sweet, then they walk out into the whole hostage scenario... yeah, sweet. In the special features they do the scene and when john travolta takes a sip of his coffee at the end it's an absolutely MASSIVE mug, super jumbo size, and everyone laughs, it's funny.

This movie was on last night, but I saw that opening scene with the chcik I mentioned earlier and got pissed off. It's disgusting what humans do to each other.

You'd think those policemen would've known about the radio fequency bombs on her. You'd also assume that they'd find it tthe least bit curious that she's running back TO the bad guys... Fuckers.

I know it's just a movie, and that having her not get blown up would make for a less intense film, but even still.

Still a great movie though.

Dude, the chick blowing up was awesome. I love that scene. Characters do really dumb stuff in movies all the time though, as frustrating as it can be.

Dude this thread is getting much more response that I had anticipated. I just thought, wow I loved that movie. I'll make a little post. Lo, I'm not the only one!

And, I personally found Ms. Berry's berries surprising. I mean, I was startled when they jumped into my vision. I did pause the video and examine them, but alas my determination was, "two more titties." As far as judgement, they were good. As far as relevancy to the quality of the movie, I found they added little. Little titties.

I think the idea was that they consolidated her role as strong and self-assured, whilst hugh jackman's character felt awkward about the whole situation. (yeah... I watched the making of...) It also added this to the movie: little titties. teehee.
