Social Tendency Disorder?

did you really expect us to think that's what you were talking about when you made a thread about STDs?

I have a social tendency disorder, which is my tendency to not be social.

use a rubber and don't do anything unprotected until you're both tested. it's not so bad (well, okay, when they use that little pokey thing... ug, can't you be more gentle? jeez) and it's over quick, and these days the results come back soon (got my HIV results in 20 minutes, everything else in a week).

Peace of mind is way sexier than doing something you'll immediately regret and be wondering about until you actually do get tested.

and, think of it this way, if you are both clean and monogamous, and you can get her on the pill or she's already on it, life will get a whole lot sweeter.

Play it smart, buddy. You need your weiner to be in tip top shape.

I don't see what this current explanation of your original post has to do with the question you asked.

could it be that you were planning on saying "fuck it" and leaving it to fate whether you get the STD or not, and you just wanted to see if you'd still be accepted in the community if you had sores on your wee wee?

If so, I'd guess you probably would.

On the topic of STD's, it's interesting to note that US teenagers are 5 times more likely to catch HIV as German teenagers, 4 times more likely to get pregnant as German teenagers, 5 times more likely as French girls to have a baby, 7 times more likely than Dutch girls to have an abortion and have a rate of gonorrhoea 70times higher than French and Dutch teenagers. This is despite having the same rates of having sex.

In 1988 only 2% of teachers taught abstinence only sex-ed. Now 25% do, directly because of religious belief.

While it would be hard to draw any definite conclusions, it is easy to see how people who are not taught how to have safe sex do not know how to have safe sex.

If you're sexually active in the US, pay taxes, or would like better public services from your government, understand that regardless of your religious opinions, other peoples are having a significant effect on your life.

youre in high school, right ben? a lot of kids in high school spread rumors. what youve heard might not be true... but being safe is the best idea either way. actually... it happens outside of highschool too. my first year in college people were coming up to me asking me if it were true that i had hiv. someone in the dorms i was living at had spread that rumor around... and it got so bad that the director of student life pulled me aside and asked me if it were true. i knew for a fact that i didnt have any stds what-so-ever... but i went and got tested so i could prove my cleanliness. the people who believed that lie werent my friends. it sucked but during that time i learned who my real friends were and who i could trust. be careful with rumors.
You need your weiner to be in tip top shape.
i suggest you just be safe. know as much as you can about her.

i didnt mean for this post to be so personal.

Actually Matt I would Never say Fuck it about My Penis it is way to valuable. I am std free and I plan on keeping it that way. I know some are permanent, but which ones are treatable?

I've had some pretty funny rumours about me that started in truth and were so twisted by the time they got back to me, but that shit is wack

And Jeremy, we get it. Religion is the master of all evil. I think that's an obvious case of people actually not following their religion. Feel free to discuss this in the religion thread so as not to clog this one.

You misunderstand. The people following their religion are the people who decide that schools shouldn't teach safe sex. Their decision, by following their religious beliefs and forcing them on to the students that they have power over results in a 700% higher rate of gonorrhoea amongst American teenagers. Not only that, but it costs all Americans a significant amount of money, money that could be spent on tackling problems like starvation in the third world.

The kids may or may not follow their religion, that's irrelevant. The policy makers, the people with power and responsibility follow their religion to the letter, and look what it does for people.

If we tolerate people making decisions based on religious dogma, instead of observational evidence and rational argument, that's the world we're going to live in - one where thousands of people die because of the religious beliefs of other people.

As for "clogging this topic" - I suggest you read the topic again. It's predominately a bunch of mindless posts. What a shame if it gets hijacked...

I know what you're going to say, that you're sick of me talking about religion.

Well I'm sick of my money being spent on funding for hospitals that don't offer counselling to rape victims because the counsellor might refer them to an abortionist, and that happens right now, in my own country.

http://www.news.com.au/story/0,23599,21 ... 21,00.html

That accounts for 70 hospitals in Australia, including 21 public hospitals.

One time when I was in middle school, my friend and I were swimming in a neighbor's pool. We shared snorkels. Then when we were done, she told me she had herpegonacyphilitis and that she forgot to warn me before I shared snorkels with her and that she was sorry.

Me being so gullible, believed it, and when I got home, I looked it up in the dictionary and stuff. Never found it.

For the next few weeks or so, she kept bringing it up like, "Oh yeah I gave Chrissy herpegonacyphilitis." And she said it in one of those serious/sarcastic voices that I couldn't figure out if she was kidding or not all this time. I found out eventually.

If two or more ppl have sex and none of them have std's is it possible for a disease to be spread or started. Yeah Jeremy quit clogging my thread with relevant information and your opinion on things, that is totally not what modified is for!

if people who dont have stds have sex, then no stds will be spread or started. you cant get an std from someone who doesnt have an std.

i saw a trojan commercial the other day that said 1 in 3 people who have hiv never tell their partners... because they didnt know they had it. sometimes it takes a while for an std to actually show signs... but that person could still have an std.

you should look at webmd.com and educate yourself about stds and sex and safe sex. or maybe you can ask a trusted adult you personally know and feel comfortable with these sorts of questions.

religion plays a huge part in sexual education/ lack of sexual education... jeremy has some good points and just because this isnt the religion thread doesnt mean those points should be overlooked.

if youre asking how they began there are a lot of theories... many involving sex with animals

Well it was a simple and easy thing to do, and would be discussed in the correct thread, but whatever

Enforcing christian views on non-christians really only makes sense when it is to avoid suffering. Sin is sin, non christians sinning less for the sake of it is completely pointless. If the people in all these examples looked at what they were doing, looked at the results of what they were doing, and really understood Jesus' teachings, they would allow teachers to teach kids how to have safe sex, and they would give counselling to rape victims. Then again you've got the pope telling africans they can't use condoms, and one would assume he would know a fair bit about the bible. Well, I don't agree with catholicism.

I don't see how any of these people glorify God or help people get saved. I don't see any biblical reasoning behind their actions.

Just to be clear, I think it's disgusting and immoral of schools not to teach kids how to have save sex. Surely if you asked any of those teachers/institutions if they actually thought telling hormone filled kids not to have sex would actually stop them, they would have to concede no. They must know the damage they are doing.

There are and have been a lot of absolutely disgusting things done in the name of 'God' and 'religion' but there isn't a biblical basis for such acts. People will do disgusting things in the name of anything.

The teachers would just think the kids didn't listen and they are horrible kids for doing it so young or whatever. Same with drugs.

Suppose so. As teachers of adolescent kids, they really should know better though. Anyway, forcing religious based morals on non religious people is stupid.
