From their special event page:
(SNIP)
"Cartoon Network is proud to announce a new initiative that supports and aplauds especially gifted kids who are ready to take their talents to the next level. We're looking for boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 16 who are unusually talented in sports, music, dance, gaming, etc...
12 superstar kids will be filmed and showcased on CartoonNetwork.com. America will vote for their favorites, and the top six kids will be featured in a one-hour special on Cartoon Network."
(END SNIP)
Send nominations to:
MEg TV
20 Sunnyside Avenue
Suite A
Box 351
Mill Valley, CA 94941
I obviously can't participate in this contest, but if you know any shredder kids who would, they should be nominated. With Worlds in FL this year, we need as much exposure as possible.
See ya!
Scott.

I think you're probably (one of) the best, Danny... (I HAD NO IDEA YOU WERE 14, THAT'S FUCKING SICK!)
As long as it's restricted to north american (which I assume it is). Norek is like, 15 or something. And that Matte guy is 15 or something.
I vote Danny.
I would do it, but I'm not very good.

I kind of disagree. I don't think they'll really be able to tell the difference between footbaggers skill levels, and if they get a bunch of footbag entries, they won't really stand out that well. If they only get one footbag entry, but it's a very high level one, then I think that would stand out more. But that's just my opinion.enlightener wrote:Everyone who qualifies should enter. Don't just rely on one person's skills. Inundate them with footbag options, let them choose who to give props to.
.
In any case, props to Scott for finding this. Definitely a very good chance for exposure.
