I'll be missing my mom's birthday to come to Worlds. You guys had better all sing her happy birthday with me! I'll film it and give it to her as a present... it's on the 13th. Be prepared!!

there is a poll up now, so if you're qualified to take it, please do so. I'm not sure if it's limited to ifpa memebers, but I'm pretty sure you just have to have a footbag.org account to participate.

The purpose is to gather information.

One thing to note, is that for the room rates you must be one of these

competitive athelete
masters athlete (competing in over-40 events)
attending Hall of Fame reunion
official event staff
event volunteer

Montana plans on attending. Probably 3 of Us. It'll be their 3rd worlds and my 1st. I am already giddy with excitement.

I printed the events page out the day after it was stuck up on Footbag.org and I haven't gone a day without it being in my back pocket. It's always a nice motivator when I read it, even though I could recite it word for word without looking. I may need to print out a new one though. I'm incredibly excited though. It will be 9 day long orgasm for my feet. Hell yes.

When is everyone planning on getting there/leaving? I'm about to buy a plane ticket, and I'm curious if it's important to be there for the start/end...

so.. if I get there on the first day in the afternoon and leave on the last day in the morning am I going to be missing out?

*Edit*
Went ahead and bought my ticket; Arriving 4:26 PM on the 11th and leaving at 6 PM on the 18th. $262. Woooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That would be so sweet if you really flew that thing to Worlds... if you had to go to the bathroom though... I feel sorry for anyone under it.

Orbitz.com. For some reason it's $100 cheaper if I get there in the afternoon instead of the morning, maybe try that. Seattle is more expensive than LAX though, that might have a lot to do with it. :?

I found a ticket goign to florida from pittsburgh is 152 there and coming back is 191, pretty cheap. But I think its way to early to buy a ticket. I'm probably going to get one no later than June, they must have deals by summertime.
