Request : Any Mesh Rod Laver Modify video out there?

I have a seen a very good video from flipsider modifying G-unit shoe, but any other video for Mesh Laver?

I just know how to tie it differently, but dont know how to cut.

Try using logic...

There are two layers of material. Just carefully cut into the first layer (from the inside) then take off each panel.

The end.

It's actually about that hard.

I really recommend soaking your lavers in hot water first. This helps dissolve the glue that holds the canvas to the mesh. If I had done this my first time it would've been so much easier and I wouldn't have gotten any holes in the mesh. Then pick at the stitches of canvas with a sharp metal object like a pen knife or a small scissors or something. Keep doing that til you have a big enough hole and then start cutting away canvas. The toe is A LOT tougher, but use the same method.

Hopefully you won't end up with any cuts in the mesh, but if you do, you may want to pick up some fabric glue or Elmer's Fix-All glue and apply it to those cuts. That will permanently seal them and prevent them from getting bigger. I may one day provide a vid tutorial for this procedure, but I don't have time right now. Good luck!

id like to warn from putting them into hot water. i did this to my gunits and the glue of the sole came out. not a nice view on the those black shoes. i dont know if its the same with lavers, but be careful and dont let it be too hot. it will sure help removing the canvas but you can do it perfectly without as well (but with more more effort). its up to you, ask someone who actually did this before!

I think he wants to mod lavers. You can stick them in boiling hot water and it won't hurt the shoes one bit. They're made of completely different materials than Units. I've done it to 5 pairs now. It helps TREMENDOUSLY when removing the canvas.

And if you're worried about ruining your shoes, here's what i do.

When i'm ready to do the cuts, i put a rag under really hot sink water, and ring it out a bit. Then i press the rag onto the surface of the canvas for about a minute, and its loose. Pretty easy, and no boiling water.

I just use a hair dryer to loosen the glue. Works just as well as water and you don't have to wait for the shoes to dry.

I prefer taking off the outside layer, rather than the inside layer. The mesh is a bit slipperier than the material on the inside.

about the hot water thing. if u put the faucet spout right up to the inside material and hold the shoe sideways the water goes right through the side of the shoe only getting wet the part you want. hot water.
