Getting To Know The Community

Post by Sporatical_Distractions »

We are a community involved in something that not a whole lot of other people understand. Get to know the community you post to on a regular/irregular basis. tell something about yourself that not a whole lot of people know.

I'll start:
-I'm allergic to penicillin
-I'm afraid of man-made heights (tall buildings, skyscrapers, bridges, etc)

I like this idea. It may not necessarily create a cohesive community but it's a good idea to get to know those who you chat with online regularly.

I am scared to death of the ocean, big lakes, and deep water in general, no matter how crystal clear the water is.
I love metal, both the usic and the actual metal.
I used to play drums but had to stop due to a lack of progress and a wrist injury caused by chainmaille.
i'm taking German.

- i used to have a "phobia" of mustard but i've gotten over it almost completely (the sickly smell, color, consistancy...i used to have literal nightmares involving showering in mustard  )

and

-im still not convinced that footbag is a sport.

-Also have a penicillin allergy.

Have a huge fear of wolf masks. Like, in the Shining when at the very end there is that guy who has a dog mask on, I nearly shit myself. In Saw, the only part that made me genuinely feel like running in a small corner and crying was when the girl had that pig mask on. I don't know what caused it, but they just creep me out.

*edit* today, a really big german festival was held. Where I am, they dress up, and there are huge parades everywhere. Either way, at one moment I turned around and a wolf mask was facing me, I yelped. I wonder what the person behind the mask thought..

*edit2*
-I love uploading pictures and videos to prove stuff, that I don't really need to.

I cant sleep over peoples houses, cause I love my bed tooo much. I dont drink or smoke. Have never smoked a cig or pot in my life

Other than footbag, I'm into ...

Juggling
Diabolo
Yoyo
Video Production
Skateboarding
Halo (I prefer halo 1 pc)
The Coach

My mission in life is to get decent at everything possible before I die. Next is music :D

Oh, and I fucking HATE mayonnaise! Like, wow. It's sooo disgusting to me because the smell itself turns my stomach instantly. I understand where you are coming from on the mustard Petey

By the way, am I the only person who thinks spiders are weakass? I think you could actually kill one with your left testicle. It's like being afraid of a piece of paper. ?

Hi, I'm Nick Landes, I live in Aloha Oregon, and I'm a footbag addict.

I like rock and metal, guitar hero, let's kill, pass the pigs, and settlers

I'm allergic to nickel (I get a rash if it's on my skin for too long) and sugar (i get really hyper and my eyes diallate, and I talk like a chipmunk... it's some funny stuff)

I hate extreamly slutty girls who dress the part, cigarettes, and not being able to play footbag enough.

I have allergies to cats, alcohol, and stupid people.
I'm a high school drop out and a college graduate.
I don't drink, smoke or do drugs
I look Hispanic but I'm not. I'm not good at math, I don't eat dog, I don't know kung-fu.
I went to a catholic grade school
I still have my butt virginity.
I'm ugly.
I think I suffer from insomnia (I have to be at work in an hour and I have not slept yet).
I don't like to travel.
I work at a dentists office but hospitals creep me out.
I'm an older brother, a younger brother, a son, and an uncle.
I have a sister on the other side of the globe I barely know.
I just recently switched to a money clip.
I am no longer a practicing catholic.
God, I love to kick a footbag.
I've got a mean sense of humor.
A teacher once described me as happy as I am sad.

EDIT 1:
In grade school I lost an arm wrestling match to a girl that really liked me. Dammit I tried so hard too.
I haven't arm wrestled since.
I don't like girls.
I like women.
Neither like me.
In high school I was accused by security of being an asian gang leader.
I like my nick name way more than my real name.
I have a special mean face that automatically happens whenever I ride public transportation.
I've been told that I have a great fake laugh.
I enjoy life's simple pleasures.
I've seen some really fine-ass women
with really fucked-up-ass teeth.
I'm semi ambidexterous
I giggle when I hear the word 'twat'.
I laughed hardily at the birth of the term 'vapor cow'. Bovine induced flatulence.

Edit 2:
No one close to me has died yet
I have not used deoderant since highschool
I am so bored at work right now.
I am never having kids.
Why? Re-read all of the above.
Zeke

Fun.

-I have never used deodorant.
-I climbed Mt. Fuji when I was 10.
-I've played footbag in Australia, New Zealand, USA, Canada, Spain, China, Japan, Czech Republic, Finland, and Mexico.
-Styrofoam freaks me out, touching it has the same effect on me as scratching a chalkboard has on most people.
-I was extremely close to moving to New Zealand permanently a couple years ago.
-I've been cutting my own hair since summer of '02.

"embiggens" good word.

my name is matt cross.

I don't joke when it's time to smoke.

Footbag and Guitar are my two biggest (only) passions in life. I write my own songs and sing them in public. I am extremely hard on myself. I like stitching until I've been paid to do it, upon whence I go on long stitching breaks. I've only had two haircuts this millenium (2002 and 2004, and one little trim in 2003 that I did myself) and they've both been buzzes after growing long hair. oh yeah, I spent my entire childhood growing up on a privately owned zoo with thousands of strangers coming to my house every summer. I've only been in one fight in my life, and I got my ass kicked really bad. It was shameful. I've hit mullet barefoot both sides on consecutive attempts. I may just be a professional hacky sacker within the year if the toy company with which I'm associated gets their national distribution. I dream of having a footbagger as that special person in my life. When I start to suck bad at footbag, I punch myself in the head really hard sometimes. I like wearing cornrows. tonight I'm going to see the vagina monologues.

that's about it.
