Isn't a huge part of wearing a jersey to have your name on it, though? It's just a fancy shirt otherwise.

scott behmer and nick landes have jersey shirts with their names on them... and i think ive seen a video where verena has her name on a jersey shirt.

in the long run, itd prolly be cheaper to buy all the jersey shirts in bulk, then have mosher do the screen printing. also, people could go out and buy a jersey shirt they like that fits, and have everyone send it in to have it printed... although not everyone's jersey would be the same color or style.

mosher's # should be 420... lol

I just found this thread, and I think that the idea of a jersey is great. Perhaps only Canadian citizens with IFPA memberships should be allowed to get jerseys with a name on it and others can get a t-shirt with same logo or a jersey without a name, OR not their name but the name of their province/territory.

I like the idea of the text being Footbag Canada. It sounds more official, like Hockey Canada or Sport Canada. Maybe someone could look into funding options from this website or similar options:

I see a footbag with two red bars on the sides, and white in the centre with the same pattern as some of the "Flag bags" ie Bolivian or rasta, and the front and centre pent in the white part has a red maple leaf printed on it. You could issue the same bag as the official team bag, sell it with each jersey. Put an additional logo to indicate IFPA membership on both the bags and the jersey. For the jersey, place it on a sleeve or on the chest. For the footbag, put it on a hex and make it smaller than the maple leaf, and also place in the red part of the bag.

I think it would be cool if all the jerseys were the same basic design... it makes it more like a uniform that way. Isn't the idea for the shirts to represent "Team Canada"? more uniform-like = more Team-like. IMO, that's fairly important.

Totally agree with you ben,

I don't know if I'm going to worlds this year but I would definitely want a shirt just to show my love for the sports. Plus it makes it more official in someway.

Sorry if I got your hopes up. I decied not to complete this project this year. Too many conflicting opinions about the matter, plus the jersey I wanted to make would end up being very expensive.
