my twin left for marine bootcamp today.
i feel like im going to cry blood if i keep this up.

ive decided to leave modified for a while. if you have nothing nice to say about that, then say nothing at all. i will be keeping track of my sale page, and maybe download some videos, but thats all. if you want a footbag from me (which seems to be the only thing people want from me) then PM me. during my absense i will be working hard on my game and stitching bags for worlds. im not trying to be dramatic or sensitive... my choice wasnt made from a situation... and im not going to explain this any further. actually, if you have anything to say then pm me, cause i wont be reading this thread either.

i love you brian.

Hey guys.
I sent you a pm Holly, but I also just wanted to say again that you'll be missed.

Brian,
I got the bags today and I have to say they are perfect! So thanks for putting in the time to stitch yours, and the same to Holly. I'm afraid to get them dirty. :x And can we expect a crazy shred/yoyo video soon from you then?

so.

im kinda disappointed in modified lately. idk if im gonna continue posting here. the yo forum is much friendlier. and helpful too.

i might have hit a new trick for me yesterday, but i might have hit it before.

regular paradox dlo. and psdlo. anyways, i know its irregular, and it was cool.

i got my new red lavers. theyre pretty sweet. maybe ill get around to pictures, but they look like every other red laver (except flawless mods.)

theyre really making my game clean. toewalls, and a stiff inside surface. i have to really dig my clippers in to make a bag sit. plus, i can flapper like everytime, thanks to the flat sole. my pixie looks better with them. ill film a solo soon and compare it to my last solo session.

quantum is hard. someone give me tips. my shoe keeps hitting my calf. i cant do it not symp.

tomorrow i wanna hit ducking pdx. dlo. and guillotine, but that probably wont happen.

my pixie shuffle is coming along. i just gotta learn to step better. ducking is getting better. working osis and flip whirls.

my new minis rock. i wish i had more time to stitch.

time for class. cya.

Hey southern shredders!

B- maybe try pushing you dexing knee inward more to get rid of the claf slap, and slam that set foot down to erase the symp. props on flappers! keep throwing them even though you never see them from shredders. Ever try flieing flapper?

My new favorite kind of post is someone saying, I haven't noticed- care to point out a specific thread...

"im kinda disappointed in modified lately." I haven't noticed- care to point out a specific thread... Cause I can point out a similar thread from years back, no doubt!

Just messing around, you gotta take the fizz with a grain of salt dude, internet is for messing around, tourneys and sessions is where its at.

Care to inform me about the yo forum???

"if you have anything to say then pm me, cause i wont be reading this thread either."

Hmmmm well why let a prefectly good thread die, I'll take your spot...
I hit monster x2 today, monster is spinning toe for the uninformed and is a great replacment for osis. I also did some shred, it was fun and easy.

Gotta get my wii online!

i just really havent seen much worth of reading. a few good videos have come out in the last few weeks, but other than that, not much has had me reading. i read a few blogs. i guess im just bored with looking on fizz for something to waste time with.

so maybe ill just post here, and not concern myself with other stuff.

i shredded some today, and im about to go shred again, if its not cold.

earlier i just worked foundation, and alittle ducking, and alittle osis. getting used to lavers really.

okay, enough time wasted not shredding. to outside!

(oh, the yo forum... theyo.com, and go to forum. )

I was just curious Brian but whenever you first get your new Lavers, do the arches of your feet ever feel stretched out when getting used to them? I always get that. :x
And how's the yoyo stuff coming along? I want to see a nice Footbag/Yoyo video.

my yo hasnt got here yet. but im trading a 32 for a yo on theyo forum. so i should have another coming sometime soon.

yeah, my feet hurt in new lavers. just gotta get my foot groove worn in the insole, then theyre fine. the stretchy feeling is only along the bottom of my big toe bone behind the joint.

so i went outside and learned quantum set. within 15 mins, i hit toe blur bs, and quantum butter bs. i had already hit quantum legoverbs, but i did again not symp. i like to think its a op toe set rooted pixie. or... quantum.

i was real close to quantum illusion bs, and i attempted quantum egg, and footed it. i started getting hungry so i stopped, because i get stomach pains if i dont eat and play footbag.

(all this was possible thanks to my brinard mini, thanks brian, for making quality products that everyone loves. )

and thanks nasty, your tip helped me understand better how to move the dexing leg. i learned to keep my toe in stallish position, instead of really pointing it like other sets.

ill make a vid one day. probably wont have much yo, but ill showcase my talents that ive got. it wont be a nicely edited vid, or with good camera angles or cam quality. wait till summer, and i have time to dick around infront of cameras instead of working all day.

well. guess i need to stitch.

bye.

Sweet man! Yeah, that's where I get it as well, only a little farther back towards the center of my arch. Was just making sure I wasn't an odd child. Though we all are odd in some way or another.

Props on the Quantum stuff man!

Have a nice night.

what a nice day. im gonna shred with holly and lee later, and have a few beers even later.

got something in the mail today.
Image
Image

thats my newest mini, a gift for lee. this will be the 3rd open level player to get one of these bags. hes so lucky. this is such a hot color combo.

oh, and thats my new yo. i busted all my old tricks with no problem, and hit new ones i saw on the internet immediately. yo is easy as tiltless. well. i guess my level of yo is equaly to my current level of tiltless.

and heres those new shoes ive been talking about.
Image

theyre not lighter than climas, and they sure as hell dont feel like climas, but i guess i gotta save my climas for shred only. and theyre red! my first red shoes ever! all my climas have been blue. (except 1 pair)

so i guess im gonna go hot tub, because im sore. didnt sleep comfortably, and i worked/shredded pretty hard yesterday.

cya saturday.

That yoyo looks different than others I've seen. Is it specially for tricks and such?
And that bag is a prefect match for those Lavers man. You should make another specifally for them.

so clarksville was actually pretty cool this trip. had a nice dinner with my mom, which she cooked, and shes doing much better. able to move and do stuff. thats always good.

hit a few yo tricks i havent hit before. its not the same as a new footbag move high, but whatev.

i ended up hitting double or nothing with a ferris wheel dismount, and dizzybaby with brain twister to some dismount. i think split bottom dismount is what its called.

my shred session from friday went pretty sucky. still getting used to lavers, and i wasnt feeling it. i hit tripwalk and toeblur a few times, but thats really the only highlight. osis bsosx2, and alittle ducking. pulled out the yo at the end to show lee, and couldnt do any tricks. he was still impressed. holly did really well, and hit a few nice combos. shes improving, and her butterflys are getting better every sesh.

so yeah, my blue yo is an advanced yoyo, with bearing and o-rings and metal rims and stuff. its a polycarbonate/metal hybrid yo, with adjustable gap space. thats all i really know about yos right now, but it gets pretty technical, like mods and products used inside a yo setup. ill learn all that shit soon enough.

i picked up me and holly a duncan speed beetle each to dick around with, until i get another nice yo for her. they were 8 bucks each at toys r us.

i havent switched to lavers, i just needed some walking shoes. wanted to preserve my climas. i use all my shoes to shred with, that way, im not dependent on my shoes for my style/ability.

so im gonna yo cause its night time, and raining. and maybe learn something

it was sent wednesday. sent one to freedom guys too, idk if theirs is there yet either.

so ive gotten pretty good at yo in 5 days. wait til spring break and ill make a little vid.

but the new tricks ive learned are matrix, ripcord, and split the atom. those are all intermediate-advanced tricks, and if youd like to see them, go to mastermagic.net.

ive spent lots of time playing yo. its so much easier than finding a place to footbag, i mean, just find an open space. with footbag, it has to be out of the way, warm, and well lit.

but i havent stopped footbagging, so dont w orry.

Split the atom and ripcord took me like 2 weeks to get down, I can't believe you hit that after a few days, props.

I had a Kickside and it was really easy to learn on. The Dark Magic was my favorite advanced yo-yo.

im lame. its only been a week and im posting again. oh well, fuck it.

that penske video that jim posted today is super fucking rad. i really like his style and his spins. im excited to hear his review of my bags.

i was going to enter the online comps but it seems everytime i have a good session or a good string, there isnt a camera around. im not really disappointed in myself, but im not satisfied with that. its getting warm outside so im going to be practicing more.

friday im going to solo session... and then have a skatepark session with brian and lee. im working hard to up my game. maybe ill get to record then, maybe not.

im looking forward to my birthday, although its 3 months away. brian asked me what i want so he can be looking around, and at the time he asked me i didnt think i wanted anything, but now that ive thought about it theres a million things i want and dont need...
ds lite, diddy kong racing ds, mario ds, mario party 8 wii, moral kombat wii, hania bag, carol bag, ilja bag, owheel bag, new gunits, a massage, a vacation, your mom, one of those new imacs that costs thousands of dollars, a wacom tablet, a house, my twin to come home, and a million other things

brian and i were rough housing at work, and he grabbed me by the waist to sort of swing me around... and he smashed my head into a wall. i have this large goose-egg bruise scab on my forehead that ive been hiding with my hair. lol... he felt so bad. at first he thought i was laughing and was like "oh you think thats funny!?" but then he realized i was crying. lol... i got some damn good hotwings in exchange for a busted head. bwahahaha.

Hello Holly and Brian!

You guys have a cool blog. Mine is pretty lame. Plus look at all the people who have viwed yours!! Plus you guys actually accomplish things.

I just wanted to let you guys know that your bags look amazing! Holly your Penske bag looks so good. Brian your new stitching looks so clean and amazing, I can't wait to get that bag you sent me. It still hasn't arrived :x . Oh well. Have you received the bag I sent you yet?

Sorry to hear about your head there Holly, but at least you got some wings out of it.

How is your drilling comming along Holly? It is hard to get better shredding solo, you are so lucky to have Brian there and a few other people in your area. I have to go to Montreal to shred with people, which costs about 1500 dollars return from Iqlauit. But I am heading there for sure in June for a jam that Kolo is organizing. You guys should go, it would be nice to meet you two. I would love to meet you two at Worlds but I am not too sure if your country will allow me in b/c of a little possession charge from a few years back (shhh, its a secret.) It is silly that your gov't won't let me in, but ours will let in drug offenders.

About the Montreal jam, it will be on my birthday! June 2, I will be 25, a quarter century. Sometimes it feels like I am too old to get any better at footbag. But I will shred until my hips break.

Peace

What's up Brian? I hear you are getting into yoyo from Holly. I recently got into messing around with a yoyo myself. I think we are about the same level. I started around Christmas time, when did you start? It's super duper fun to play with. Lacerations are my favorite, although I only know a couple  GT4LYFE!

I challenge you to make a yoyo video and post it in the kicking circle in the yo thread I just made, also check out the one I posted. Later man.
