I'd like to introduce Moir's Moves, a new weekly series of 2 minute videos of random tricks and concepts. The first is mostly technical, but the following installments will have more experimental footbag and juggling.

I normally prefer to have footbag and juggling videos be separate, but I enjoyed this one. I liked that the vid was short but sweet. Triple toe stall was my favorite.

And, what exactly is the move after that? Is it Spinning Matador, or is there something more?

yeah, spinning nuclear butterfly.

i don't like the vid. there was no editing. the tricks are pretty good, same with juggling, but video is pretty boring. i think your all videos are filming fro one place. that makes them pretty boring.
that's my opinion.

i liked triaging legover. pity you didn't hit it.

I liked that a lot Jorden. Thanks! The juggling was prettty sweet and no need to mention the shred.

I couldn't follow all of the crazy juggling stuff though, too many objects to follow.

Whew -- survived Setman without too much damage done.

Keep in mind it's the middle of winter and there aren't that many places to film. Once the weather gets warm I'll be outside mixing up the scenery.
It's hard to have much camera movement when you're the guy in the video. hehe

Each one will get better -- don't worry.

that's true, but you can also do some editing. when i was watching you old videos i almost got into sleep, because of no editing. The music could be more exciting.
i'm sad, because nobody wants to write negatives about videos. that would make videos better, because someone who's did the video could say to himself "ok i'm gonna try to do better video, maybe they're right that thins things are not good" - these negatives could be clues for him in creating new video in the future.

Jorden your videos are awesome, don't worry about what other people say, they can tell you how to make videos when they are pushing the sport as much as you and still using fancy editing and camera angles on their videos :p.

I think Kamil's comments are quite true and valid in this case, but Nic's comments are not. Telling people that their videos are great when they arent necessarily (technical footbag content aside) is detrimental to their progression, to other peoples experience of them, and just blows smoke up the proverbial.

Sorry to be blunt but it just happens too much.

And talent with a footbag and talent with a camera or editing suite are entirely unrelated.

It's not that easy to have awesome camera angles when you are the only person filming and you have to be in the video.
I agree with Nic, in that your videos are good for it just being you filming.
If you had another person there not shredding it wouldn't be the best videos, but for the resources you have, you make awesome vids.

I think you have to take videos for what they are.

If one of the best players in the whole world wants to give us a little shreddy snack that doesn't happen to have any time whatsoever put into the cinematic aspects of the video, I will take it, and very gladly. I've seen every one of jorden's session videos, and I honestly don't care that there's no fancy editing whatsoever and that they are almost all from the exact same spot on his floor.

I have so many props to jorden for what he has done that I don't even have time to get into thinking of what shortcomings he might have for what he hasn't done.

I'm not saying his videos HAVE been edited well. I'm just saying I take them for what they are; little peeks into what's going on in the life of one of the most amazing freestylers I've ever seen, and ever will see. I really, really appreciate his videos for that. Editing can be cool and beautiful (late nite jam, all of Eli's pieces), but if it's not there in a shred vid, I am not about to complain, and if the shred is at all interesting, I'm not going to miss the editing.

Should I have to choose I would go with raw footage of crazy moves over meticulously well-edited footage of lower caliber runs / moves.

I know many footbaggers who think the exact opposite to me on this issue though.
