Well after our campus session, I hit 40 contacts tiltless (barefoot) in another basement mini-sesh. I've hit 50 before, but I'm still way stoked on epic string length.

Ripwalks and torques are what I need to school next to advance my game.

You should just move to Missoula

btw finish that vid :!: There's lots of new stuff from that sess that i've never hit before. I just want to see that spin butter>pdx torque>rpt>string run

Tomorrow is the day MFA gets together. I figure the only way I can hit Setman's 5 PWF fearless challenge is spin duck butter>spin duck osis>rpt>pdx torque. So I'm anxious to try that one out. probably won't hit it but it sounds fun.

If I moved to Missoula, I would be homeless.

I'm right in the middle of authoring a dvd for a friends band. After that I'll get on the video. I'm not even going to edit that much since there is only one angle, I can't do that much with it. I promise in the next week I'll pump it out, carrot juice style!

Props Kevin. I remember at last years MFJ, we laughed at our spinning blender attempts, especially flip. Nice milestone.

The usual Wednesday night shred session brought the whole MFA together for the first time in almost a month. I was stoked to see Ty show up halfway throught the session. I was not stoked about everyone pushing me to work flipside. Everyone has good intentions, but it's still discouraging. I've been getting the same shit for two years now, and it only makes me want to drill flipside less. When I shred, I do it for fun and drilling flipside is not fun. It's what I need to be a better footbag player, but I know that I'll never be the best. String length and consistency is what I strive for, even if it means doing all the same ol' tricks.

Wow, Ty The Captain showed up? Nice. He usually never wants to play. Hopefully he wants to play next time I'm in town.

It has nothing to do with trying to be the best. None of us are ever going to be the best. It has to do with us knowing what you can do., when you were trying pickup motions to get your flip whirl, you overshot a few pickups. had your clip been out you would have had flip whirl yesterday. You wanted to be pushed by us and so we are pushing you. If it's pissing you off tell us. Plus having your muscles symettrically strengthened across your body helps in more than just footbag...e.g. hiking.

It's not like I don't need the MFA to encourage the develop my game, or that I don't appreciate the encouragement, but having the same conversation every session gets repetitive and discouraging.

Mikey came to micro-mfa today! I was stoked about seeing him doing better. Even though he's not out of the leukemia woods yet, he's still doing really well.

Jere and I had a mini sesh at the skatepark after micro. I hit a 4-4-5 in jeans and skate shoes first try. Jere got really close to gangster party.

p whirl>blender>p blender?

I understand where you are coming from Blendy. I have a feeling Mario feels the same way because I always push him flip when he just wants to have fun, but I'm just trying to let him know he could hit something better/bigger/different because I can see it happening. Oh well, shit, I could watch you do blender refraction runs all day long :D

I was thinking about coming out this weekend, but I have to do my DVD screening (plus it just snowed  ) . It turned out pretty sweet. I think I will try to make it out NEXT weekend. I need to get back into shape. Start eating right and playing more footbag again!

I got pulled over the other day on the way to Albertsons for not having a muffler. I don't have insurance (or a job!) so I was fucking scared and ready to face my $700 ticket. By the gods, I was let go with a warning. So lucky.

I was so freaked out by the whole ordeal, I ended up getting bananas and strawberries at 2am. I ate all of them that night. I'm not sure if it's related, but I was having this weird knee muscle spasm for almost a full day, off and on. I never knew you could OD on bananas?

I need to do my taxes and get my sweet ass $100 back! Then use it for gas money and get over there. Sweet.
