Tanks! :)
The credit for the drill regimen should really go to Mtoolan, but I love it; it's extremely effective.

On another note this is the most recent bag I've made. I <3 it. I'm going to pamper it and love it, until it's old, decrepit, and unshreddable!

Had a rly awesome shred sesh. with Drew Krause, Drew Martin, Chris Balch, and Jon Schneider on Saturday. It was like 70 freakin' degrees out so we played outside in this park by Chris's house; it was kinda windy for my taste, but hell, it was outdoor shred in January! People were even out flying kites!
As always, everyone seemed to be on to of their game. Lots of fun things being hit.

I worked on hitting dragon a bunch, n seemed to get the hang of it relatively quickly. I hit some flip stuff mid-string, which is a big improvement from last week. I'm hoping to have whirl school'd in a few weeks too. :)
Going back to school on Sunday! :) Playing with Tom again should be fun! Made a bunch of progress since I've been home.

It's ok the days are getting longer; it will be spring soon enough, and we can all enjoy outdoor shred. Everday. To our little heart's content. :)

So tonight Drew and I played with Tom for the first time since b4 winter break. Played for about 4 hours. uggh! It was most definitely a lot of fun though. We all played pretty well.

I hit a few longer strings; that was pretty cool.

Tom fixed my pixie's, so I worked on them a bunch in socks. They were really hard with lavers bc I hadn't cut off the bottom 2 eyelets yet, and the bag would always get caught in them when I tried pixie. (I just cut them off now).
I managed to hit smear a couple times (of course when no one was looking).

Then after Tom left, Drew and I tried dyno and managed to hit it pretty well maybe like 1 in 10 lol. FIRST 4-ADD!!!! It's a work in progress. Anyways I thought it was an awesome day. More tomorrow ^_^

Ok so I haven't updated this thing in a very long time.
I haven't really played much all summer :( I didn't really have the time or motivation. I played once or twice, but now it's time I start getting back into regular shred. I played with drew last Thursday to get back in the Groove. Tom was supposed to come but he never showed up :(
Anywho I hit most of all the stuff I used to:

Symp. mirage
clipper>pickup BSOS
mirage BSOS
pickup
xbd rake
pdx mirage
osis
flapper
cloud>mirage
ss mirage
dragon

I also played today for about an hour and a half highlights are:

Whirl a few times which was way amazing! I've been trying to get this trick down for like 5 months. I've hit it twice before but was never able to do it again. So I hit probably like 5 of them, and footed it a bunch of times.

I also footed Drifter which is cool. Will work on it some more later in the week.

Also starting on Double Legover...we'll see how that goes..I've gotten close a few times.

Far-reach goals for the next month or so are:
Torque
pixie-set anything
stepping set anything
spinning anything
Ducking Anything

Played last night with Tom for about 2 hours or so.

I hit whirl a few more times :)

I wanted to get started on spinning, and I hit spinning toe a bunch of times which was pretty cool I guess. Hoping to get spinning clipper by next week or so.

Hoorah footbag.
Oh yeah tis talk like a pirate day too. Yarrr!

It was nice meeting you in NYC. I'll let you know if I make it up to visit Bob Riefer sometime, or if we organize a jam here in DC. We're located too close to not play again sometime soon.

It was great kicking with you again since our last meeting at Temple U. It looks like you're getting into the footbaggin' spirit again, and I might drop by to Temple once more for some great shred sometime. Drew just incited me on a monthly jam that is open to people outside of Philly, and I think that's a wonderful idea. Maybe a bi-monthly jam would be more attractive and open to people's schedules; I'm not sure.

Anyway, I hope our hospitality made your first tournament experience the best ever! :P Train on that flipside! Ante up those strings!

Shred on!
