Reading week is going alright. I've come down with a chest cold so MM Part B is in question. Might end up editing some older sesh footage I have -- some decent stuff in there.

Tried to play yesterday. Had to go in intervals cuz I couldn't breathe well. No good shit to report.

I feel like my frame isn't really meant for shred. On one hand, I want to gain an upper body for juggling (and overall appearance) but on the other hand I don't.

Endurance needs some more work. I think decreasing some mass will help. Want to get to 165 at the peak of Worlds training.

Stretching my ankles more frequently. Muscle twitching through moves can only take you so far, then you need some naturally good angles working with you. Ankles are a good start.

Rather proud of myself that I've maintained this level during 'off-season'. This summer will be crazy -- I will be busking almost every day.

Early March I'll be performing in the Waterloo Juggling Festival. This will likely be my biggest stage performance outside of competition and could really help my performing 'career'. Excited. :D

Gonna submit my Feb sick1/sick3s now...

Thanks everyone for your continued support!
...of my lonely obsessions

Gaining upper body strength (not necessarily bulk, but strength) will be beneficial for your shred ability. Most people are unaware that we use our upper body to pull ourselves up while we're jumping, in conjunction with leg muscles. So if you feel like it will help your juggling, it will also aid in shred.

People have been asking the question: "what is the ideal body type for footbag?" for years. For a long time it was thought that skinny was good, but Rippin' and Wulff were always pretty built and could bust. For a long time Mulroney dominated the game, and his upper body was so undeveloped that you could see his ribs poking out. Then Chad came along, and it was like: "whoa, tall and lanky works too." Then Ales came on the scene and from 02-04 showed that upper-body mass was no problem. I heard he's playing well even now, even with the ridiculous extra mass.

My point is that I think Jorden will be able to play regardless of what he does with his upper body.

I was in that last year! They kinda asked me to perform at the last minute and I really sucked onstage, but otherwise it was an awesome show. I might go up there this year too.

Are you going to be busking as a form of summer employment? Will you be travelling or doing this in your hometown?

Have you hit spinning or gyro ripstein? What about spinning swirl>gyro swirl>rpt? Peace out homey. You are good.
Stronger upper body=stronger spins and torques. I really cant say that as fact, but it seems logical to me.

What's up, people? Miss me?

I haven't been playing that much lately -- still waiting on a pair of Goonies.

Did some demos at a school today -- sold some DVDs/Sandbags as well. Man, that was good news. I was literally running out of food. Managed to walk away with 3 bags of money! haha...well, sandwich bags.

A lot of the kids at the school thought I was famous. Kids are so gullible these days.

I was rocking the Quantums -- they are alright as a last resort shoe. hehe

Seshed with Jon this aft -- we were both laying it down pretty well. His atomic sets were looking crisp. I find I often fall in the hole of "try a weird/hard trick/link, sometimes succeed, repeat" for each turn. This kills your run length -- but interesting stuff can happen...

- grifter > flux [rpt] (finally!) :D
- barroque > superfly BSOS
- alpine blurry whirl > food > run
- double blender >blurry swivel > run
- whirr > infinity swirl > whirr > run (felt styley)
- delusion > atom smasher [rpt]
- surging far rev whirling rake (Jon's request)
- fog > toe fog
- gyro egg > ss butterfly rev swirl
- nice eggbeater run w/ like both beds/tards/symp bubbabeats, fairy egg and pixie ss egg
- my best merlin combo ever: both voodoos/stepping voodoos + hellraiser midrun @_____@

Uuh, yeah.

Jon hit mobius > barfly, reeeal smooth. Props Jon.
