I had my first skateboard-session ever on friday.
Didn't have space enough to ride around only like a 4 meter long and one meter wide spot.
Was able to land/hit/whatever atleast 2 clean ollies, a manual or two..
Also hit drive up to a bench, jump off the board unto the bench, jump back on the board and ride on.
Tried kickturns but they seemed really hard.
Skateboarding is fun!

I longboarded one summer when I stayed with a bud for summer. No car and long walks so, it was the easiest way to get around. It was a lot of fun, pretty easy too.

Ken I was going to say Yeah Right! but then you did. I recommend Fourstar's ' Super Champion Funzone' but it's more of a documentary than a skate video. I think the 15-minute 'Weekend with the Gonz' segment was worth it alone.

I've skated full time since i was 17, im 23 now. Last summer i was living in ottawa with a buddy of mine, hes a fuckin sick skater, mad steeeeeeez. ha. k anyway, so it was retarded hot there last summer, which has nothing to do with my story. so another buddy of mine that was there for the summer invited me over for some hamburger helper...FUCK YEAHBAR!!!! oh ya, i forgot to mention that his phone call woke me up. so i go out into my living room and punch a cone (smoke a bong hit for anyone who isnt from sudbury

). he lived just down my street, maybe a 5 min skate. one important factor in this story is that i skate as absolutely fast as humanly possible. and so on my way i see this waist-high chain coming off a bank into a parking lot. CAN WE SAY HIPPY JUMP?!?!? so i realized that waist high is too high and tried to bail out once i hit the bank, but since i skate so fast, i couldnt stop myself. next thing i know i hear my face smack the cement and everything turns yellow. now i do like to mention at this point in my little story that with the chain being waist high on me, and my feet being what caught the chain...im approx 5'10 so the chain is at least 3ft tall right, at my feet, meaning i fell from a jumping position with my toesies 3 fuckin feet high right ONTO MY FACE!!!! so i got up, noticed that i PULLED THE FUCKIN CHAIN RIGHT OUT OF THE WALL, grabbed all my shit, and started walking home, until i noticed that my face was bleeding profusely. so i bend down to let her bleed out for awhile, and a bunch of ppl are all, OMG GET THIS KID AN AMBULANCE

!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and lay me down on my side. I JUST WANTED TO BLEED OUT MY FACE AND GO DO ANOTHER BONG HIT!!!! the cops show up and call my roommate, who was there in 2 secs, mainly because it was 2 secs from my apt. He starts to talk to the cop, who looks at me and says, and i quote...." yup, his nose is deffinately busted, think he broke his arm real good, but his teeth are fine...............WILD!!" haha, that makes me laugh. so apparently i scorpioned and almost broke my neck, so i was on a stretcher for 4 HRS. when i get in the ambulance, one of the paramedics goes to put an oxygen mask....DIRECTLY ON MY WOUNDS!!!!!!!!!! I was like "get that shit the fuck off my face before i hit you you fuckin idiot...> nono, i have to do this so you can breath properly...> (INHALE HARD- EXHALE HARD) I CAN BREATH FINE, SO PLS STOP JABBING THAT THING INTO MY CUTS!!!) so in the end i ended up breaking my nose, cutting the fuck out of my entire face, and spraigning my arm. OH YA, i had a huge gash from my knee to my ankle and i still have the scar. SWEET DIGGIN. The cool thing was that because i used to get my ass kicked all the time when i was a kid, i had a crooked nose, and this bail actually broke her straight dere!!! and i healed up so fast that a week later i saw my mom and she didnt believe it happened to me until i showed her pictures and then she started to cry on the spot!!!

Man there are sooooooo many great videos. It all depends on what style of skating you like. The enjoi video is nuts, same with Almost Round 3. PJ's a machine, and his part in Flip's Really Sorry is majestic. gnaa. Umm, the first video I ever saw was a 1996 Airwalk sampler you got in the mail

Umm, fuck so many. Toy Machine Welcome to Hell, Alien Workshop Photosynthesis, DVS Skate More was awesome. Audio One Step Beyond for Kenny Anderson's part, all last summer i watched Transworld First Love, and it inspired me every time. Oh and if you like the Girl video, check out the older ones too, and you'll fer sure love Hot Chocolat. The Baker vids are awesome, Reynolds does a fuckin 90 down like a 5-8 set or something, but i dont care if it was flatground.....A FUCKIN 90 MAN!!
