K, you know the feeling when you tell someone about footbag, and one of the things you say to a non-footbagger is that footbag is like "hackysack". Well I usually like to send a video to the person that I am explaining the awsomeness of footbag.
You with me so far...
Well I was wondering, if for these new people a special video could be made, or just dug up. when we fellow footbaggers watch a video of jorden or vasek, we understand what it is that they're doing (and i know lots of people have had this feeling) but when you're trying to show someone footbag, they're just like "ok what the heck did that guy just do?"
It is for that specific reason that I am requesting a video of decent tricks, nothing too fancy is required, with LOTS of slow-mo. I know that the sick ones and threes have a slow-mo after every trick, but no offence the cameras usually stink and that puts my fellow friends back to square one with visuals.
thanks alot.
video request: sick but clean footage

I know what you mean. Too many dexes can just be a blur to the untrained eye.
I would say show 'em Luis Monhollon vids. The guy kinda shreds in slow motion just naturally. Just look his name up on YouTube. Here's a great one:

Lots of ducks and spins, very smooth, controlled and slow. Great for demoing the sport to the average person.

yeah i have recently shown a few non footbaggers and one beginner footbagger this video and i always get more "wow this guy is incredible!"s than with most other videos i've shown to the less initiated to the sport.C-Fan wrote:The Blitz Mulroney special also has a very visible bag and lots of slow-mo.

I've been planning for long about making a video like this, "what is footbag freestyle". I just hadn't good enough equipment before. Well I still don't have an editing program that would fill my requirements, but that was the smallest problem anyway.
I'll be on it when it's warm enough to film outside.

You might like to consider the Quantum shoes 'commercial' that Max Kerkhoff made. It features Vasek shredding with the Swiss alps in the background, lots of slo mo and clearly presented tricks. I dont know the original link but its also on YouTube.

Nice post Sam. That video is very smooth and there is a good variety of players there. I hope you all still play.
