alright, there are a lot of things to respond to, but it's late, so I just wanted to say I didn't realize so many people were disjointed about the current Tricks section (in the Gallery) not being user-friendly enough. IMO, the old 'Practice Room' was sh!t. Just a list of arbitrary names with a quicktime video attached is not what I call forward-thinking, not by today's standards anyway. In short, I've found the perfect solution, and am beginning to implement it. For those who want a peak, login at flipsider, then go to flipsider.com/tricks

Some of the videos aren't what they should be (i.e. torque video on the whirl page), but I was just testing it, and using some "dummy" videos for the time-being.

I'm really honoured that so many of you were assisted by flipsider, and since many of you may not benefit directly from the new tricks section, just think of all those Vaseks and Jordens who are yet to come.

Suggestions are certainly welcome. Video contributions will be encouraged.

So ellis, for us to get videos onto flipsider in this format, all we have to do is put them on youtube, and then... what? Can we embed them ourselves, or should we message you and you can do it?

janis, awesome.

HG, hold your horses. ;) Give me a little time to fill it out, then I'll make it clear how to contribute. In short, yes, you can put a video on youtube (or anywhere else), then click the "submit new article" link and embed it. It's *really, really* easy. If people have videos to contribute to existing trick pages, then an editor/admin needs to add it, or the one who started the page.

Thanks, more soon,
Eli

EDIT: To reiterate, please no one act on this yet. I need some time to fill it up, and I have a lot on my plate already.
