Shiny side of facile vs rough side
Sorry if this has been covered before, but im just wondering if there is any disadvantage to stitching bags with the 'shiny' side of the facile facing out, instead of the rougher side?

I concur. I was also wondering how a bag would play if it was stitched and filled inside out so you can see all the stitches, that would be awesomeMatt Cross wrote:the rougher side out pills more, and pilling weakens the fabric, and there ya go.
Although...
maybe it's pilling just as much when it's on the inside of the surface, and we just don't see it... hmmm...

Its weird cos the stitching tutorials ive read say to stitch it with the rough side out, but then another Aussie footbagger made his with the shiny side out and said he read thats how u do it, so i started doing that too. It looks a bit nicer too IMO...
So the verdict is: Shiny side out is best?
