OMG this is gonna be hilarious!! You guys should footbag THE ENTIRE time. Like when the wife says somethin about getting dinner ready , you guys should just keep busting. That way the producers have no choice but to show footbag on national TV! Seriously though, this will rock, I'm excited!

Damn, between you two, Penske, Dylan and Cameron, they could start a whole Footbag Sitcom on the CW called "Daryl's Kids".

We've both been extremely busy here, so doing the application has taken a while. We are nearly complete with it now, and should be submitting it within the next few days.

I've had a chance to watch a few clips off youtube and the show actually seems pretty decent (for TV). I was a bit worried because the first show clip I saw was just a commercial for the "pirate" show - It looked utterly stupid (from the commercial) and I thought that all of the shows were like that. What I didn't realize was that the one lady already was a Pirate. I had thought the pirate twist on the show was just added randomly. Anyway, from what I understand, the show can actually be positive... It seems it really just depends on the people in it.

Anyhow, at this time we are still going through the application process, and I have no idea whatsoever when we would actually be on, or when we would even start.

Nevertheless, if we do end up on the show, you can have NO DOUBT that there will be plenty of footbag on it, so long as the show accurately shows what really happens in this house. We literally kick here 1+ hours/day at a minimum. When I'm not kicking, I'm either sewing bags, working on my website, working on shipping/handling/accounting, browsing the forums, or chilling (movie or a book, or surfing). I really don't do much that isn't footbag related. (Even if it's with a bowling ball

... been working on that lately).

Anyhow, back to work...

hey that all sounds great Daryl! I've watched that show once or twice. It can be really funny. They take total oppisits and hook them up, great stuff sometimes. You got to make it super hard to with, then be great. Or be crazy the whole time.

I got a wife and three kids, but we're not "t.v." people i guess. I could be, but my wife I don't think would go for it, plus they'd give her some family that has the worst kids ever, and she'd drop a nucular bomb of dissappline on them!!

I've been waiting for a more definitive answer on this before posting, but I can say that it seems Jodi (the person who originally posted on .org, and casts the show) was very interested in our family, and that we moved from the "written application" to the "video application" which was submitted last week. Yes, we included shred. Now, Jodi has to sell us to the producers. I'll probably follow up with her tomorrow.

Hey I wish I had come upon this post earliear. I think it would be great to send daryls wife over to charlie dukes house. Then send terri(charlies wife ) over to daryl. It might go something like this. "after dinner instead of 30min of clipper drills, it's off to the wall to practice serving. Then 30min of spike drills, instead of 4add combo's. This would be the ultimate footbag edition of wife swap.

Hey Yvz, tell them to sign up. I just spoke with Jodi, who casts the show, and we are moving on to the last step of the application process! They are now looking for a suitable family to match us up with (why not a net family?). This is no guarantee that we will be on the show, but great news nonetheless!! She said that chances now are about 50/50

Holy Moly, almost congradulations!! I've watched this show a few times. Its' most likely going to portray your family as footbag fiends. Which I can't wait to see! I hope giving footbag national publicity like this will bode well for all of us. Good luck
