Ok so we've got mike anello, and chris dean so far. I think matt cross is on board if the Weekend of March 17th-18th is good for him. I don't think pat tallon will make it because baseball has started, and as of josh I have not yet had the chance to talk with him, but i'm sure he is down. As of a location, matt suggested a beach house jam like we had before, if thats not cool anywhere in rochester or geneseo is fine, or maybe Zoo jam? Lemme know whats up, PM me, post in my blog, whatever works. Aol instant messenger is cool too, Anti Gravyti
Peace!!
Peace!!

Hey guys!
Aww man... reading this business about a Rochester jam breaks my heart...
I am going to NYC next weekend (16th- 18th) and I was hoping you guys would want to come there to shred with me! I know its late notice, it was for me too... it's a school trip organized by my crazy hippy new media professor... The sign-up was just yesterday.
But I really want to see you guys! I had an unbelievably fun time at KICKASS with you!
Dammit!
Well... if its possible for anyone please let me know. We are staying in a hostel near central park and we have no itinerary. So I'm definitely up for a couple sessions and partying for SURE.

Hey Camille, long time no see. Great to hear from you. Sadly, I will not be able to make the NYC trip. I hope you have a great time.
Keep in touch.

I'm not sure about the weekend of 17-18. I need to decide between going to NYC for St. P's or joining this jam, soon.
You guys are always welcome in Geneseo though. I have crash space, and we can use that auditorim place we had for new years, it's open every day now that school is in session. I play in there most days now.

Ahh! I can't believe I didn't check this blog sooner!
NYC kicker, Waylon Lew, at your service Camille! KICKASS was definitely tons of fun!
I can definitely kick with you on the 16th and maybe the 18th, but on the 17th I have to go to Temple U. in Philly, Pennsylvania to kick with the crew over there. I'm sure NYFA will be kicking on Saturday the 17th to support your footbag shred needs, so that about covers it. If the weather is warm, there will be some kicking outside at Union Square, 14th street in Manhattan. Otherwise, we usually reserve space at a dance studio around the area. For more info on the schedule and location of our sessions, search "nyfootbag" in Yahoo Groups.
I wish I could spend the weekend with you to kick and to catch up on things from KICKASS, but maybe something might come up until then. I don't know.
edit: I'm also very interested about GRASS this year.

"Footbag can be pretty frustrating when it's supposed to be fun. I was partly driven by this forum - practice, practice, practice... As that is true, I think someone can be too focused on progressing and training that they miss the fun aspect of it." - Bander87

I have received a few messages regarding this weekend and a possible jam. I have read through our blog and have not found any message confirming a jam.
Here are our options.
1) Genenseo
Shred Spot: Genenseo Campus. Chris Dean could probably get us the auditorium we used for YEAH. However, Chris has mentioned the possibility that he will not be in town this weekend.
Crash Spot: Chris Dean has crash space available.
2) Rochester
Location: RIT Campus. There are plenty of spots on the RIT campus for Shred, but no one spot will be secure. Basically, we will have to meet up somewhere, then walk to a spot and shred until we are asked to move. This is solely depending on how many people come out. Paul and I kicked at a really nice and visible indoor location last night with no complaints from anyone. In fact, at two different times, we had ourselves an audience that sat and watched us shred for a while. It was great.
Crash Spot: This is where things get tricky. The only possible night my house will be available is Saturday night. I say this prior to asking my roommate (a.k.a. fiance) LOL. If someone offers up a crash spot for Friday night, perhaps it would be most convenient to offer the same spot up for Saturday night. It's just an idea, but it makes more sense to me than having a different crash spot every night.
Let's keep talking and hopefully we can work something out soon.
Peace
