get well soon. dont try and play too early.

maybe take up stitching 4panels for this week? thats what got me started.

i got hurt, and didnt need to shred for about a week. so i got some material, made a 32, and havent stopped since. that was pretty much a year ago, and look at my bags now.

Yeah. I'm going to take it easy. I actually might work on my Flip ATW's. It doesn't hurt in the least to do those and they could use some work. Maybe Dexcersise some too. Immediate stop if even a twinge of pain though.
Brian, that would probably be a good idea. In all honesty though it;ll probably be chainmaille bags, plus I've got orders I need to fill so I'll probably take this time to knock them out. I may eventually get into stitching though.
And I don't have to look at them, I have one. And it is superb so I know what you mean. :D
But for now, it's just shred videos, chainmaille, and homework. I may end up still going to the gym today. Just for core and upper body though. Meh.

Ankle injury! Your fucked. Just kidding youll be alright. ONe time this stupid idiot decided to do a toe whirl off of my back porch, and I landed in a hole from three steps up. That was the most unnatural position Ive ever seen any of my body parts in ever! Did your ankle pop or anything like that? Definitely wait plenty, I couldnt and now my ankle is permaswollen! I hate ppl that get in your way~!

Damn Ben. That's much higher than I was. Hmm, permaswollen? That's different. I've never heard of that happening. As for a pop, yes there was one. But it wasn't anything to be alarmed about. I can pop it when I stretch that way. Just like cracking your fingers. At first I thought I had broken it, but I was able to walk on it with minimal pain so I'm positive it's just sprained. I have it elevated and iced. Though this ice is fucking cold. :x

Ok, so Friday night I ended up going to the gym. I wasn't able to do any leg excersises except Leg Curls and that was only on the laying down one.
I also walked half a mile at a VERY slow pace to help me get used to walking on it. I thik it helped. Yesterday it wasn't hurting as much with exception to the morning, when it hurt like hell. It was still pretty swollen yesterday though I had more range of motion. I didn't do anything strenuous on it either. Today, I woke up this morning and barely felt it. I have even more range of motion, though it's not close to the norm. The swelling has gone down considerably though. AT this rate I might be able to play by Tuesday or Wednesday. Sweet. I want to play very badly though. -_-

I'm going to try out some Zooming Sets as soon as I can play. They look fun.

The swelling was down a lot this morning. I could even see some bone. I still had no inside crank but I think that'll come soon enough, I hope.

Unforunately though, After 1st I have a LONG walk to my 2nd period and I had to run up some stairs to make it on time... which I didn't. >_>
Anyways, I think running up those stairs wasn't oo good. It didn't hurt one bit but at the end of 2nd period it was swollen up quite a bit again compared to what it was this morning. Not too much but a noticable difference. It also turned a little dark around one small area, the dark area hasn't grown at all since and it doesn't hurt at all, but the spot hasn't gotten smaller either. I'm considering seeing a doctor soon. I'm going to check with a physical therapist at the gym tonight. See what they think. I've been icing it and elevating still. And I'm still taking anit-inflammatories. We'll see what happens.
If I lose crank in my ankle, or if this affects my game in the long run... this person will have hell to pay.

Ankles better. I went to the gym last night, talked to one of the trainers. They basically said the same thing. It's simply sprained. Ibuprofen, elevation, icing. I've done an assload of it since. I have twice as much inside flexibility as yesterday. Should be back at it soon.

As much as I need to rest it though. I couldn't handle going any longer without Footbag so I tried some simple stuff. I can hit Legovers and Pickups fine with no trouble to my ankle whatsoever. I also used my injury as an excuse to finally start getting my Flip Symposium Mirages a little better. Hit 3 in a row even. So that helped blow off a little steam for me.

Oh yeah:

Strongside Torque 2nd try. Hit it twice more afterwards.

Very nice man, props on torque.

Hopefully your ankle will fully heal within a few days (hours maybe?)

Thanks buddy. It was surprisingly very easy for me. I just though of it as a Near Mirage "bailed" to an Osis. Would've done something off of it but didn't want to push my luck with my ankle.
Definitely not hours, but a few days and it should be good. Hopefully. I will be tearing i tup when Ican though don't you doubt.

Nice to hear that your ankle is going better, start with few easy pratice, don't go too hard on it at least for the 2-3 first practices.

It's still a little discolored, and still limited range f inside crank. But swelling is almost completely gone.

Managed Toe Duccking Toe back to back today. Not very good with left foot Toe Ducking so that was nice to hit. :D

Torque 6 more times. I've noticed that the rotation of the shoulders helps a BUNCH.

I've got a shin splint in my right leg now though. -_-

Didn't get the job. He said their were some shifts in managemant but that I'll be the first one he calls. He soundeed sincere, but we'll see. I guess I have to call all of the other places I applied to now...

Ankle is better to the point where I can do the occasional Flip Clipper, still limited flexibility though.
Played about an hour and 15 minutes today. Some highlights:

 Spinning Pickup
 Spinning Rake
 Far Osis>Torque>SS Butterfly I would've done Infinity but didn't want to push my luck with my ankle.

And due to the fact that I haven't been playing as much as I normally do due to my ankle... I have shin splints. Meh.

Shit man, nice spinning moves. You'll be disgustingly good when you learn sets.

So no shred really today.
I actually was able to go to a music show downtown with a friend I haven't seen in too long. :D In all honesty, all but one of the bands sucked ass. Well, there was a guitarist from another band that was disustingly good, but his singing was shit. :x No good music to shred to either.
But afterwards I went outside with her and her friend to wait for their ride and I managed to hit Whirl x2 for the first time since my ankle injury. Awesome.

Though I still don't have the crank I used to which will make things so much harder. Meh, hopefully it gets well SOON. I'm mostly playing my Strongside right now which is making my very nervous and annoyed because my Flipside was just beginning to reach that point where it actually worked 95% of the time. Meh.

So, no shred but today at the store I was walking along and my Dad called my name so I pivoted a bit to the left so I could see where he was and there was an unusually sharp pain in my ankle. I haven't experienced that at all until today so I think there may be something a bit more than a sprain and I think that that may be what's been preventing any improvements in my crank. It doesn't hurt when I turn to the right, just only to the left. And when I do the pain is just right around my ankle bone. Swelling is all but gone so this was surprising.

I'm going to the doctor soon. I want to make sure it isn't somethig serious.

Such a wonderful day, however exhausting.
3.5 hours of practice today, plus 30 minutes of weight training will wear you out. :x But today was so productive I don't care.

My left Clipper, the injured one, was really on today. So was my Toe stuff.
Obviously with that much shred, there's a lot I want to comment on but I'll leave it at my favorite highlights:

 Ducking Legover, almost both sides. I only footed the Flip.
 Spinning Legover both sides.
 I managed to clear 3 Atomic sets on each side for a total of 6.
 Footed Atomic Butterfly Strongside.

 Spinning Dyno after at least 80 tries, no joke heh. This also happens to be my first 5 ADD.'

I managed to film it too. Unfortunately though Fizzied hasn't worked for me for the past 15 times I've tried to upload it. It's only 8 Megabytes but whatever. And YouTube is being an ass too. Expect it in a few days.
