Post by Max Power »

Their is a very nice Butterfly kick in this Lays add.

It's the one that says "under the sun". I think it's really cool that freestyle footbag is kinda on TV. It is becoming apart of normal cultur in America, people will still look at us and say "i've never seen anything like that before" and we'll have to do our whole talk, but it's really cool that a company as big as lays reconizes that footbag is become a very popular game.

I've been seeing this for a good while now. It's a nice bit of exposure, though it doesn't really capture much of the Freestyle aspect as much as the "casual hack" aspect people are more familiar with. But either way, it's a step in the right direction. :D Thanks for posting.

A hippy with no shoes flying through the air?

Doesn't exactly scream "play the intense competitive sport known as freestyle footbag"...

Saw this ad on TV recently. My first thought was "Cool...but they're just trying to target the 'carefree youth' of North America".

Not really the same message we're goin for here.

Aint often you see 3 adds on TV though.

When did Peter Irish get dreadlocks?

IMO I think it just feeds the NA stereotype that "hackeysak" is played by hippies with dreadlocks in bare feet or sandals who eat Lays chips after getting the munchies from smokin' the wacky tobaccky.

Let's see here...
1 Hacky Sack
2 Hippies
3 Deadlocks
4 Bare Feet
5 Sandals
6 Eat Chips
7 Getting The Munchies
8 Smokin The Wacky Tobaccky

This reminds me of every footbag tournament I have ever been to.

"Advertisement" is traditionally abreviated "ad."

I only make this correction since I was confused for half a second that there was some new chip related add type we were instituting.

Thanks though.

Sorry about that, i wasn't sure which was correct and i also thought that even if it was wrong it would be cooler to spell it add because of the game we play.

I also wanted to ask; what makes a person a hippie? I'm not sure I know a hippie, am I a hippie? help me please.
