I just got it, J.T. = Jamieson Terwilliger
Just called Cassie. We talked for a while, the traditional "How'd you pull up?" questions that get thrown around the first week of the year. I asked her out to dinner and she was a bit taken by surprise. Eventually she said maybe in the future but she wasn't really ready for anything like that at the moment. Her family is JW and I think she's a bit in turmoil about that at the moment, and she seems really honest. It's similar to what she was saying NYE. She said we should catch up more though. I'm cool with all that.

Wow, Jamie played FOOTBAG?!
Finally.
Only played for 50 mins cause I started feeling sick... and I needed to get back to edit church news, which I have to do, and it's 12:30 at night, and I'm really tired, and, and... I just want to go to bed
Anyway, no huge highlights, mostly good just getting back into it. Hit all the usual stuff etc. Also hit gyro whirling inside delay bs and pdx illusion > eggbeater which is a cool link I saw on a video somewhere today... an hard for me, cause I suck at eggbeaters
Oh wait, there was one highlight. Delusional Butterfly
:D:D

thx
also I forgot another highlight from last night... drifter > vortex rpt.
Played one hour tonight, was good. Nothing hugely special... just general improving etc. Worked on eggbeaters a bit. Worked on consec ripwalk which has never worked for me for some reason. I think I don't set it quick/high enough on flipside, got 15 which is a pretty bad pb... funnily enough my stepping clipper > sidewalk > ripwalk rpt pb is 25. Go figure.
got a couple of delusional sets off and footed the butterfly once. I want to hit delusional op mirage for feb comp, that'd be sick. So hard though. Probably won't happen.
Priority list:
Fairy
Eggbeater
Spinning
Ducking
DLO
These will really round my game out I think.

Monday 22nd January
Length: 1 hour
Drilled: BOPs, Shuffle, Eggbeater
Got a 70 contact BOP run, happy with that. Worked on shuffle a bit, but legs were a tad tired for some reason. Got 18 contacts of mini rubberman which isn't too bad I guess.
Worked on eggbeater for a while. Definately saw improvement on both sides. Was basically just hitting toe set eggbeater > hand catch. BSOS'd it a few times though. Really happy with the improvement tonight, because I feel like I can see the top of the hill, when before they were just hard.
Had a few goes at flip bladerunner again, but i'm probably better off leaving that for a few weeks.

OK pete. Also, you sound like me. I'm working on my toe/clipper percentages though. Also I lost your bag
A mate threw it away for some strange reason while we were having dinner at a pub, then I got distracted and forgot to go get it >< FAR OUT So I'm playing with my non-broken in hania. Thanks for the bag, it was great for a while...
Hey JP! Yeah, no drifter rakage lately sorry. I will pimp it one day, trust me. I guess I just have other priorities at the moment... forgive me?
Cobram? My aunty lives there! It's a hole hey
So I assume you're fruit picking. Yeah, definately see you in Sydney. You know it's the weekend after now? 16th-18th.
Tuesday 23rd October
Length: 1 hour
Drilled: Flipside clipper, ducking, spinning, eggbeater.
Worked a lot on getting my flipside clipper back a bit, further round. It made an instant improvement to my flip spins and ducking when I concentrated on that. Form is so damned important... Just gotta turn it into muscle memory now. The hardest part is fixing my balance, it feels really unnatural leaning over that side, but I know I need to. Am excited at the prospect of fixing this, as it will improve and round out my game a lot
Eggbeater also worked on a fair bit. Saw improvement again, and tweaked form a bit. I now do the illusion dex with my knee further out than the bag, so I'm sort of coming back at the bag. It feels extremely smooth, much cleaner and tighter. I like. Does anyone else do this? Is it 'bad'? Does everyone do it and I just missed the memo? Then again I've never drilled eggbeaters before... Also concentrating on keeping a straight back... makes me feel like ales
haha
edit: oh I forgot. hit atomic barrage tonight, felt good. Might have been shoey, but wasn't the. Also footed miraging flail a billion times (ok, like five, but still... frustrating) I would have kept going but it was the end of the sesh and it's sort of a high impact move... hehe.

heh heh, i can never ever judge anyone for losing bags that i've made (or otherwise) because i lose more footbags than ANYONE. literally. i lose footbags like its my job.
when i do illusion im pretty sure my foot is either straight down from my knee or slightly forward. so different from how you do it. i hadnt thought at all about it before, but i'll play around with the different styles when i play later. im no judge of what works well because i pretty much suck at illusion.

Hey man. I miss your arrogant american ass too.
I've been playing a little, played much more this week. Want to improve for sydney jam next weekend. Been working barrage, symp mirage and eggbeater. Trying to expand my game a bit I guess. Haven't done much lately before this week, been so crazy busy
It's hard to find time in life for footbag sometimes... *sigh*
Yeah I just couldn't be bothered blogging lately. Have been shredding though. Got a symp furious set off this week, didn't hit anything from it though. Footbag isn't exciting me at the moment so hopefully sydney amends that.

Sydney kicked ass. Had such an awesome weekend. Real tired now though. Was good shredding with the guys again, specially phil, and nathan. Always good to have a new player
I hit atomic drifter and reactor bsos in the one run again, tombstone b2b and frontside janiwalker
Other than that, nothing really. Bit of a lull. Still awesome fun. I need to train harder at this kicky bag thing. My life is too busy

thx man. symp furious is def the shit.
Played an hour and a half tonight. Wanted to go 2 hours pretty bad (because I've been so slack lately, want to get more disciplined, sydney gave me a bit more inspiration again) but ran out of light. Apparantly dad had the power disconnected from the carport and now no sun = no shred. And we're about to lose daylight savings. Gay. Must fix it this week, cause I want to start improving again.
Anyway, just worked my flip clipper a lot again. Saw it almost fixed tonight, which was good. Can see the light at the end of the tunnel! Now I just have to fix butterflies, which are still wack. Also stringed BOPs a lot but they sucked arse. Best was 36 and most dropped before 20. Oh well, I'll get back into it. Then I worked flip dyno, which just shitted me. Also had no light by this stage which was pissing me off. I want to get dyno like osis
Current priorities:
- String length
- Eggbeaters
- Barrage/double pickup
- Dyno
Other priorities will come once my clipper is up to scratch, e.g. ducking, spinning, whirl... etc.

Played again. Week is going well. Hour and a half again. Would have kept going but I really need to NOT have a late night tonight, been too tired at work lately.
Worke on:
Flip clipper (getting better and better
)
BOPs - best run was 76 after only a few tries, pretty happy with that!
Dyno - flipside is frustrating but saw improvement tonight.
Tried a few eggbeaters but wasn't feeling it.
Worked symp mirage a bit too.
Brushed up on some shuffle, I haven't worked on it in ages. Didn't hit anything good but it'll get better again soon. Best was Omellete > Omellete > Legbeater > Ripwalk > Blurry wh-drop straight off the bat. Sort of took me by surprise cause I thought my omellete's were heaps rusty.
I've got heaps of new bags now. It's great, I can just pick random bags to shred with

yeah nice work.
I think you should totally focus on string length, because you've got enough moves and components to hit solid long strings, you just try to link them all together too closely - spread them into sections tied together by bops. I think if you get used to shredding in long strings, your speed and strength will improve the tiny amount required for you to hit all the moves you're currently close to but can't hit consistently or mid run.
