beautiful weather today! we had a session friday and today so im feeling great! both were at the skatepark.
lee came friday. nothing special from my part... i was messing around with pendulums and sole stalls. had some good longer strings. finally some tricks are getting solid enough to string together. hit illusion a couple times
sunday session just me and brian. not a cloud in the sky and not as windy as friday. legovers are really solid now... i did some pinchers, clouds, sole stalls, moshers tails, butterflies to far whatevers (far mirage or legovers).
we had like 5 people watching us until i started doing moshers tails... then we had like 12! i hit moshers tail bsos although i didnt seal the second one. i fliped over on my ass a couple times but it was all in good fun. had more fun with sole stalls... i dont do mine flapper style. ill toe set over and behind my body and sole stall with my set foot then kick it back in front of me. lots of fun. illusions bounced off my toe.
i worked on the nashville footbag brigade website last night. i plan on working on it more during spring break. the video and pictures section are what need to be worked on. also, brians member page and my member page are really pixley... so we will have to take some photos our next session. also, i need to pay for a new domain name... but i dont want to do that until the site is completely finished... that way we get a full year out of a full site. visit http://holly.angelblade.com if you want to check it out how it is.
tonight is the good cartoon night. new family guy and other new episodes.
im gonna go shower and eat and relax.

pros; super smooth, long sleeper, and hubstacks. much easier to land on string because its wider with wider gap.
cons; hurts when it hits you.
im kinda scared to use it because i want to keep it pristine and as close to mint as i can. plus im not good with it yet. i just learned how to bind it today.
i guess i havent learned any newer tricks since i posted last.
i started making a yoyo case out of one of my lunch boxes. it will be awesome when i get done.

yesterday's session wasnt so good. nothing bad, but nothing new.
went to the tattoo parlor that i normally get my tattoos at. lone wolf. i got my tattoo guy (paul) to give me an estimate:
the tattoo is gonna be 7 or 8 inches tall, and on the left side of my back... kind of wrapping around my waist but not really. when i get to be guiltless or tripless, maybe ill add a little footbag to him... the way hes dancing gives me room to make him do a mirage/ducking/datw/anything i want. he said itll be $180!!!! horray! brian guessed it would be $350, and in my mind i knew it wouldnt be that much... maybe $250 cause its so big. good thing i get this guy to do all my tattoos...
...i got one 2 years ago on my stomach... that one cost $120. it was my first tattoo and when he was doing it i was twitching a lot (hurt like hell when it got to my hip bone) so he calls me "twitch" now. i didnt really look at him till i was in the chair getting the tattoo... i then noticed he had a lazy eye! lol... hes awesome even with a messed up eye. the second one i got was a little over a year ago on my arm... that one was $80. both of them are still really bright in color and havent faded a bit. im excited about this third one, cause ive wanted a new tattoo for a while now... and i know paul will do a great job.
im going to see flogging molly this wednesday. brian doesnt like them so im going alone. hes gonna go to a yoyo meeting. the show is right next to my favorite sushi place, so i plan on hanging out there before the skankin. i was supposed to go with my friend curtis, but hes a peice of shit friend and we had to go our separate ways. here i am at 19, and ive already done all the partying (drugs) i need. curtis has been doing coke lately and i tried to have a talk with him about it... which is why we are going separate ways. i couldnt sit back and watch him do what i did, so the right thing to do was talk to him. i dont think i made any sort of impact so im just leaving him to fuck up what he wants to fuck up. sometimes i feel old when i have to have that talk with one of my friends... i always end up feeling better after the conversations cause i know ive been there and i got out of it while i could. when i look back, i wish i would have had friends that would tell me i needed to start thinking about what i was doing. although i doubt i would have listened. one day curtis will look back and realize it takes a true friend to have the talk i had with him.
oh well fuck it.
goonits in the mail today, so i made a modding tutorial as always. im thinking of adding the ones ive made to the nashville footbag website... but i havent worked out all the kinks for it.
lots of footbags will be made this week. greg nelson, jim penske, zach jahner, me, and josh yarborough. thats the list. it will be done.

And I know how having to walk away from a friend feels too. It's not a nice feeling, but in the long run it's the best decision you can make in a situation like that. If things work out he'll understand your point and make amends. Something like that takes a lot of strength, emotional, mental, the whole works. Props.

i played footbag and yoyo and filmed it. most of my footbag game sucked, but i made a yo vid.

im going to yoga with my mom soon. i basically have the week off... so mom wants some quality bonding time. i went jogging earllier today... and plan on doing that for the rest of the week. i think i did a mile and a half... but should have done more since i was pissed.
