Footbag & Disney

Post by Genzu »

Somebody put a LOT of time into making this. Cheesy, yes, but actually not half bad. Too bad they don't clarify "footbag" anywhere :( - they only use it one time, when they mention a Hacky Sack footbag.

I wonder how long this thing has been up?

Peace.

I actually don't understand how people can learn moves and stuff, but be oblivious to footbag. Anyway where did those whack move names come from?

"the huey", wtf?
that is without a doubt the worst name I have ever heard for a pincher, ever.

They got their info on how to freestyle from the best online sources (cough, cough):

http://www.stallingtricks.com/back.htm

And, if you notice Disney's advice on the inside stall... what "good players" do was taken directly from:

http://www.freestylefootbag.com/fb5.htm

I'd say it depends on your frame. As far as "Huey" goes, lord knows. It's about the most obscure name I've ever heard of, though at least one other person has...

http://www.footbag.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1562

(as you can see this guy posts, um, not too much).

Anyhow, yes, I'm distracted right now... Back to work ;).

Edit.. P.S...

I always like to call behind the knee "squeeze" to differentiate it from a "pincher" which would be (and this is really tough with most shoes) pinched on top of the foot. That's what Bart told me 17 years ago anyway... yes I am old. Bart who? Reference: http://www.freedomfootbags.com/blog/the ... zu-blades/

Peace.

I would never get into a sport that told me to mimic a guy drawn like that.

No way man -- that is a wicked stance!

Notice the sideburns, hotpants and crouched position. Perfect!

OH man, I missed out on how good this thread was getting. Yeah, that burns me up that Disney is pushing people toward that clown's site. Funny stuff Greenwood
