Serge Kaldany is good at footbag too.

We haven't heard from Riku Ahola in a long time. Who knows where his game is at?

Wow, BAP is still being talked about?

Why can't we consider the elite of the elite as just "Pro" and leave it as that. The list and the talent level is just going to increase year after year. If we create another category (i.e. above open) as no shit professionals, wouldn't it bring not just a lot more publicity to the sport but give the players something more to yearn for?

In '99 pushing 5 fearless was groundbreaking, now its fucking 20. Just being recognized by other footbagger's is in itself nice, but being able to call yourself a pro is still debatable. Oh well, whatever, it's just a thought.

It's pro for the time period, so back in 92' the members inducted were considered pro for that time period. It all depends on how you look at it.

theres all these talk about poles and i agree that some of them will make BAP but at 06 last year when i went they werent THAT impressive. a lot of people could just hit big tricks and their strings sucked and their form was terrible. im not saying that for every pole though, i know that some are really good.

reguarding sergey and riku i dont think they would make it this year coz there are too many other good players from US and other places that didnt make it to last year.

qphox? if he starts hitting those big combos in shoes!

finally dave can make BAP this year its been too long, not that it really matters though. Like Phil Mickelson and Amelie Mauresmo a few years a go "Greatest players to win without grandslam (BAP)"

Those who will make bap:

Those who are good and constant in real person that will show up to worlds.

Those who posted tons of videos on the internet with impressive strings all over the place but that will only hit a few equivalent strings at worlds.

Why should people hype on this? The point is to be at worlds and live the experience!

Some players named in the thread won't even come. Some have no jobs and thus don't have desire to save money for worlds :( Not blaming them, I loved my lazy days as well!

I agree so much with this, in fact I just wrote a much longer post trying to express how I feel about BAP, but ended up not posting it to avoid a pointless argument. If we want footbag to expand, we need to aim beyond impressing other footbaggers.

Expert Level.

Maraxus has a good idea.

I would love to compete in expert. But the sport just isn't that big yet. And feelings will get hurt when pro's are not allowed to compete at the expert level.

But there is something really odd about putting Ken Somolinos in the BAP list. He's not part of it and his name should be taken off the list to respect his wishes.

Being voted in to BAP is silly. I wish I would have declined and I encourage everyone who makes it to decline and become Expert. A little something more than Big Add Posse. We're not really a posse anymore.

Congradulations to Ken Somolinos for reaching the Expert level. 8) :P
