MatS footblog!
Another session today, I did hit toe blur pretty easy, in 5 or 6 tries max. Mostly worked on pixies again today, they feel so easy now. A bit of stepping too, now that I can do it more consistently I love that sets a LOT. Hit some strong clean osis but didnt worked on them. FINALLY, hit flip whirl after having footed like 50 times in the last weeks. I'm thinking more and more about going to worlds this year, I'll try to figure out how I could make it to worlds during the next month. It would be so awesome. If I come I'll probably do a shred 30 but not a routine, I want to progress the most I can before coming and a routine is lots of works so that would probably slow my progress, at least that's the way I feel.

Thanks guys, but it's a bit sad because I don't know when I will be able to shred. When I was shredding on thursday with Mathieu I felt a pain in the knee but after stretching it it didn't felt so bad so I continued playing. No pain after shredding either so friday when I decided to shred I didn't thought about it. After a short while I started feeling the pain again and it was just more and more painful so I stopped playing. But since that the pain don't want to go away so I'm a bit worried about it. I have a gym class on monday, I'll see how that goes.

Is there a physical therapist at your school? What do you think caused it?

Today I didn't went to my gym class, I don't think my knee is heal enough for that yet. I tried kicking and a few runs to see how my knee reacts, it was good but I'm not confident enough to do a lot more. No hockey tomorrow
I may try to kick a bit and by wednesday or thursday I'll see if I can shred.
I think I caused it by trying so many fairy with my flip leg ( pain is in flip leg ) . I think I have the form wrong for my flip fairy(which I was trying to correct) and I felt a little pain while trying some but that just came back later. But I'm not sure at all. I'll see later.

Its definetly the flip fairy. Im still try to tame my flip fairy. All you have to do is make sure your ankle is tighter while you setting the bag or you have to lift your leg higher before you release the bag from your foot.

Thx for the advice, I'll try it when I want to start doing fairy again.
I was able to have a ''session'' today, no real runs. Drill basics and mainly my clipper game. Nothing hard on the knees and no set because my pain come from doing them. I did a few pixies and few atomics and felt a little pain on an atomic so just totally stopped doing them like I had in mind. Didn't felt pain of the rest of the session. Very happy of the improvement today
. By next week I should be able to start shredding again. For the rest of the week I'll probably work on basics and easy stuffs. I want to do some drifter style clipper, toe 2 toe ducking
Today I mainly worked on :
Consecutive Clipper
Butterfly
Clipper control ( by doing consecutive freezed clipper )
Osis
Pdx mirage
Rake
ducking clipper
Unplanted clipper ( to help muted stuffs like pixie muted clipper and else )
I have lot more clipper control now and my sets are better and I already feel a difference on that. The rest wasn't as succesful but hopefully that will come soon! That injury sucks but that will force me to work on few of my flaws so maybe in the end that will help me! Trying to stay positive is always helpful so let's see the good side on that!

Session again today, knee feeling good, haven't tried hard stuffs but still happy. Mainly worked on the same stuff as yesterday. Osis are slowly improving, I was seeing a difference in them today. Flip is still very hard but is better too. Did a lot of flip pixie too ( no pain while doing that because it hurts in the inside of the knee, but I have pain with atomics and fairy with that leg, it's the inverse for the other leg because while pixiing my support leg put all the pressure on the knee which is hard, but I can do atomic and quantums np because they don't use my flip leg as impulsion (hope what i said is understandable ! )) and they we're feeling great, hit 3 consecutives magellan and 3 consecutives smear, it's good for my flip. My clipper are feeling better everyday from doing consecutive freezed clipper, these are so helpful, I should have started to do that sooner.
Few updates, I haven't played since last time I posted because I wanted to let my knee heal fully. Now my knee is great and I feel no pain. Yesterday I had a hockey game and it went perfect, no pain at all even with the contacts. So today I had a session with Ianek. Started out pretty shitty because last week when I played I was taking lot of care for my knee and my muscle memory remember that, my strong pixie were not as strong as usual, I feel like both are almost equal right now. I mainly worked on stuffs today so here's few things I remember :
began to do some flip quantum and I've hit quantum legover, tripwalk and not sure if I hit toe blur, I remember footing it few times
first clean flip whirl with a nice motion, strong we're easier too and I owe one to Alan (pyroman924) for that, it's only from seeing his tutorial for whirls I understood a mistake I was doing, so thanks Alan!
flip eggbeater we're pretty close today again
footed phoenix like 3 times out of 6 or 7 tries, I could hit it but I have to work on those ducking butterfly which sucks
magellan > Pixie Legover > rpt 7 contacts sealed with hand catch, could have hit a legover or mirage out of it but the last legover from magellan was not controlled enough to hit a pixie out of it
strong fairy we're feeling pretty easy, fear twice in only two attempts I think
I know I'm forgetting lots of stuffs, it's hard to remember.
Out of footbag I have a new girlfriend since saturday and I'm currently going to see her. Pretty happy but we don't know each other very well yet. We'll see how things turn out. It's a nice asian girl, I always loved asian girls

Today session was REALLY good, drilled osis a bunch and they're getting better!
osis > clipper > rpt sealed
ducking osis fairly easily, was very surprised, havent sealed it on flip but not far either
pixie ducking osis !!! MY FIRST 5 EVER
footed phoenix again
flip toe blur
legbreaker ( frontside legbeater ) bs
alpha eggplant ( symp atomic far legover ) bs
frontside atomsmasher
footed stampede
was pretty close to blurry whirl and bedwetter and that is starting from different step
Oh and yesterday I forgot to add that I've hit my first flail too.
I feel so good now!!
