On Fri. Conrad and myself got together for a little 1 1/2 - 2 hour sesh. It was fun, not really trying for anything in particular. We both footed atomic drifter, and I ended up footing blurry torque, atomic torque and marius.

Yesterday, Mon., me and Conrad got a session in with Josh Rose before he left.

*I'll edit the rest in when I get the chance*

I'll finish the above post the next time I post in here.

Had a solo session today. I didn't really feel like doing anything today, but while I was helping my grandfather set up his new computer, I went thru .org and watched some Suderman and Jorden vids. And for some reason that really got me in a little mood to kick. Also talking to Zeb and seeing the couple of new tricks he hit got me inspired to kick too.

Highlights:
drifter > whirl > rpt > run, new drill!
reactor, cleanest one to date!
flip pdx whirl, worked on it some more, might be getting better
doubles were off today :(
atomics felt weird for some reason
atomic dyno > gybas, haven't done that link in awhile
tried a new sick 3, totally new links for me, came so damn close too

Thats it for today. Tomorrow I'm goin' to a gun show! It should be sweet.

Later footyland!

Continuation of Mon Feb 19th;

Josh has a really good foundation. He also put Conrad thru his paces with the pixie shuffle.

Conrad was doing good. Lot's of his normal stuff. Most of his runs were fairly decent. If I remember right he footed atomic drifter!

I was doing good. I really don't like playing inside but that was the only place we could seeing as it was raining outside. Had some decent runs, I think I had toe torque bsos, and drifter > torque rpt a few times. Also hit blurry torque, new 6, and it felt great!

End!

Mon. Feb 26th.

Played after I had my lil sis over. For some reason I haven't really felt like I've been playing at my norm lately. I feel sluggish and slow alot more. I don't know why either. I really can't remember any highlights from it, but I do remember that I was coming close to my new sick 3 and rubberman again. Here's another thing I remember, spinning whirl close to bs, and gyro whirl bs :D

Today, Wed. Feb 28th.

Still felt sluggish and slow, but I think I can get over it by getting a shred in on friday with Conrad and maybe even Troy Erstling (sp?). Hopefully!!!

I worked flip pdx whirl a lot today. They felt alot better than normal, and had bsos off my foot quite a few times. Was also trying gyro stuff out of my good pdx whirl, came really close to pdx/blurry whirl > mobius, that would be a stylie beginning of a sick 3 ;). Hit both gyro whirls again, and came close to spender when I was really trying for spinning whirl. Also tried a new link bs, drifter > pdx torque, feels really fun and had bs off my foot. Maybe if I get my pdx drifters back I'll try pdx drifter > pdx torque rpt.

That's all, for now. I really like how Dr. D has made his last few posts into story form. I might give it a try, but I doubt it'ss be any good.

*REMINDER* Pm Dr. D about bag!

Had a good shred yesterday with the Unity Crew. Mike, Conrad, Nate, myself and Troy Erstling from New Jersey.

Troy is very consistant, and if he keeps playing he could become really good!

This is the first time we've kicked with Mike in about a month and a half. His flip clip/butter was looking great. It didn't really wig out on him at all.

Nate was himself. Lots of spinning, and ripwalks. A few sidewalks here and there and then it was all over.

Conrad was doing better than he has in awhile. Came really close to a couple of new moves, and was having some really good runs.

I was doing alright, this session really helped me break out of the funk I was in. I had some really good runs, mostly guiltless. Plus I had some really kool/hard combos in there too.

Highlights:
drifter > pdx torque, almost bsos
blurry whirl > pdx torque, finally!
Tapping Drifter, so much easier than atomic drifter
Flip Pdx Tapdown, second flip nuke trick!
torque x8, new record
ripwalk x8 > ss butter > dyno > ss butter > dyno
pdx torque > ripwalk, footed
torque > pdx blender, footed
pdx whirl > spin whirl, footed
blurry whirl > spin whirl, footed

blur (strong) > atom (weak) is getting more consistent.
came close to rubberman starting from 3 different areas.

I think when I was trying to step out of my pdx torque I did something that seriously FUCKED my knee! 'Cause later on I couldn't even do mirage because my knee hurt so bad. I really am going to take a weak off, massage my knee and take good care of it. We'll see ow it goes.

G'night!

I just realized that my last post was my blog's birthday! I have been back into this wonderful sport for over a year. I don't think I'll be quiting like I did before, this sport is such a great stress reliever and workout, plus it's challenging.

Until I kick again, lata.

Sat. March 10th

My 20th birthday. I don't believe that I'm survived 20 years! But yea, got a Bow and Arrow with some practice arrows. Soon I'll be teaching myself how to shoot arrows and be really good at :D .

Mon. March 12th

Had my first session since I injured my knee. It felt good to kick again. Didn't hit anything new, seeing as I was just seeing if I could even kick without pain.

Midlights:
swirls and rev. swirls all throughout
whirl bsos
torque bs
stepping galore
ripped warrior 'cause it's fun

Hardly any pain after the session, big +

Tue. March 13th

Had another session today. Alot of the same as yesterday, but I did step it up a notch to see if my knee could take it.

Midlights:
swirl > spinning anything, really fun, gets a perfect set everytime!
flip swirl, worked a little more, I've kinda lost it though
ripwalk x5
sidewalk, ripwalk, dyno bsos in same run
torque bs
drifter bs
fairy ss drifter, footed
spin duck butter, sealed one side, footed other
lots of ducking and diving

Some pain after this session. I just need to kool it on some of the harder combo's that I didn't post.

happy belated birthday old man! :D 20 years old! 8O

Glad is your knee is ok. Don't over do it! try to figure out what you are doing wrong & what tricks affect your knee. Watch your planting, setting, spinning, etc. Sometimes I twist to much or to little while my foot is still planted flat or I may have the leg to straight on some tricks. I have been trying figure out exactly so I can fix it.

we will kick soon!

take care bro!

later,

Thanks Guys!

@Mike; you better get that new shift! Then we can get back the usual Unity Sessions. I'm not really gonna try anything like I was, so you don't have to worry about me ever doing it.

@Aleksei; I sure as hell hope we get to kick together, that'd be sweet!

Thur. March 15th

Had a session today because I don't know if part of the Unity Crew is gonna kick tomorrow or not.

Highlights;
Flip Fear
Flip Fairy Beater, I have hit this on 2 seperate occasions, both with seals too
Flip Park Ave.
Flip Flow

Holy CRAP!!! I think I might have a flip fairy set :D

Midlights;
Fear bsos
Fairy Beater bsos
Park Ave. bsos
Ripwalk x9
Mobius bs, nearly bsos
Alpine Fairy Beater
Spin Duck Osis bs, on accident when trying for flip spin duck butter!
Smear bs
Dimwalk bs
Motion, a couple of times
Atomic Drifter, footed
Marius, footed
Void, footed
Pixie Swirl, footed
Duck > Duck > Ripped, so close

So yeah, I'm truly thanking this injury right now. If it never happened, I don't think I'd really work my flip fairy at ALL!!! So again I say, thank you injury.

You remind me of me in a way. Be careful, Injuries affect you more in the long-run than you may realize, then again you may die tomorrow, treat yourself good.

Thanks Ben.

I forgot to say that since the session before this my knee hasn't really been bothering me! And even after today's session, my knee doesn't hurt, it's a little tender if I apply pressure to a certain point. But the good thing is that walking and playing don't directly apply pressure to that point. I'm really think about taking the next week off and apply hot/cold lotion and massaging my knee.

Hopefully this will help with getting it back to 100%!

G'night footbag land

High/midlights;
pixie and fairy bsos
atomic inspin clip > spin pdx mirage, me thinks this is very stylee!
spin lo bsos
duck clip > duck clip > ripped, so close! I want this so bad!

I know there's more but I can't remember them, and I just finished the mini session a little over a 1/2 hour ago  .

Had a session today. Didn't think I was gonna be able to, my knee was acting up on the way home. But after I got home, there was absolutely no pain what so ever! Plus I ended up having a great session.

Highlights:
Alpine GYBAS!!! 3 tries, then sealed with hand catch.
Duck clip > Duck clip > Ripped! Finally
Both pixies were doing good!
flip fairy needs more work
footed void
plo a couple of times bs
Flip fairy lo
torque > mobius, footed!!!

I think I might be using my clima 3's for awhile. My pixies are sweet and very deep, and my clipper game is just as good as in my g's and og clima's. But my stepping ducking is a little better :D .

Alright, no more kicking till friday.

G'night footyland!

Had a sweet kick with the Club today! First time in about 3 weeks or so for the Club to get together.

Mike was doing his usual, towards the eos it looked like his flip clip was starting to wig out on him.

Tyler was doing good. I don't think he really gets the chance to do any real kicking by himself, but he was doing good today. Mirage bsos, a few atw's and I do believe one lo.

Conrad was..well.... Conrad. Lots of the usual, plus a little surprise of sucking his fairy set! He said he was gonna try, and I was like you can't duck your fairy set and you know it. I then say I'm calling you out, and he was like I'm calling you in. Next time he get the bag, what does he do? He ducks his fairy set! Show off

I was doing good. It really felt like my form was more relaxed today. Lots of good decent length runs, with a little more variety then norm. Unfortunately I can't remember a single one!

Highlights;
Eggbeater bs, finally!
Spender
Atomic Drifter
Far Swirl
Fairy same Drifter

Blurry Torque, twice, both first tries 8O 8)
Flip Fairy Beater
Smear > Atom bs
10 Ducking Dlips, 7 or 8 another time
Ripped Warrior > run > drop on Alpine GYBAS, dang what a shame!
Flip Fairy Lo
Plo bs, all throughout the session
Tripwalk > Dyno
Side > Rip > rpt
Atomic Dyno > GYBAS
Matador > GYBAS
Pdx Torque, all throughout

That's all I can think of, g'night footybag land!

I just realized the spender is a 6. So that makes six 6's.

Now for everyone that read's my blog, not like that's many people anyway, I'm not an add hunter. I like putting concepts together to see what I can throw together.

How many people do read this worthless blog?

Well, I had a session today. I got really bored, and started to watch some shred vids and it got my footbag blood goin'.

Midlights:
Fear bsos
Flip Fairy Clip > pdx mirage > rpt
Flip Pixie Clip > pdx mirage > rpt
Fairy same Blender
Vortex
Matador > Blurry whirl > run > spinning whirl > osis
Nuclear lo > run
Fairy same Clip bsos
Fairy lo b2b, yay!
A run with Flip Flow mid-run, yay!
Lots of Gyro osii bsos
Worked egg's some more. Didn't hit any, but came close to some bigger one's instead of the small one's I hit on friday.

There's more, but I can't remember it. I'm gonna take the week off, and let my legs rest. I've played a lot this week, 1 1/2 hrs. on tuesday, 1 hr on thursday, 4 hrs on friday and now 1 hr today. 7 1/2 hours this past week. Geez. Time to let my legs rest.

G'night footybag land.

Had a session today. I was really bored and couldn't find anything to do so I kicked. My game felt weird today and so did I.

High's;
Marius > hand catch
Eggbeater Bsos, 2nd try
10 contacts of side > rip
Blender > Pdx blender
Pdx Torque > Pdx Blender
3 contacts of fairy lo
5 contacts of plo
8 and 9 contacts of duck clip
Whirl > Blender > rpt, footed
Blender ending on frozen clip
Duck Butter > Pdx Torque, first try on strong, footed flip
Flip Ripped Warrior, almost, ended on neck stall each time, doh!
Flip Fear, almost mid-string
Pixie Whirl, footed bs

That's all, I had some decent runs. I think most avg'ed around 12 or so. My feet hurt now, and my knee feels weird. I'm gonna take another break, hopefully I can, to let them feel better.

G'night footyland.
