Definitly ! I had a few good laughs at that myself, but it was after yesterdays
session, when i realized the the belgium voodoo powers lurking inside that
psychological masterpiece - them bears helped me a lot :D

I was almost writing Jorden a pm, cause i needed to find out how he deals
with treating all his 8000 elements with due respect but thanks to these
awesome bears, i managed to find out myself .
So i worked on clipper, butter, osis, pdx mirage, whirl, swirl, drifter, dlo,
stepping, dexless, toe sets, double dexes, tripless, endurance and some
single trix . The only move that slipped my mind was pdx dlo, and the only
elements pissing me off were butterfly swirl and "strong" dso .

Variety and runs were on = happy

HighLightz :

dso>butter>pdx mir>plo>dso

toe blur bsos in a nice string

legbeater bsos

butter>whirl rpt is getting easier

rip>blur>short run bs

6 unique stepping moves in one run

NewStuff :

34 contacts of butter>pdx mirage

butter>whirl>butter>swirl :)

whirl>blur>run ; drifter>butter

dso>paradon (on the side i hadnt hit it yet )

shmoe>dlo>run bs

butter>blur>dlo>rpt

atom and blur bsos, and a dimwalk in a fattish string

Mittwoch Shred :

I loved that session and i'm loving it still - the energy in the circle was
really high and everybody bled their hearts out trying to get better !

Big props for Toby for all his latest achievements in form, trick selection and learning something new every time we play !!!

standard repeat combos :

dlo>ss dlo>rpt ; smear>atomsmasher rpt ; butter>whirl>pdx mirage rpt ;

plus i hit some more rare moves into runs : toe dbl pick up, blizzard,
quantum pick up, pixie illusion

new links :

atomic muted clipper>stepping legover>(run) bs ; atomic m clip bsos

atomic m clip>whirl

atom>atomic m clip

atom>drifter

toe blur>drifter

atom>paradon bs

atom>pixie illusion

pixie inside kick >dlo

general impressions :

- buttloads of stepping moves and dlos

- stepping out of flip butter happened a lot more ; same 4 flip double dexes and dlos = good :)

-toe blur is getting more and more efficient

- i actually can use whirl/drifter midrun

- consistency is on the rise :P - i feel that i might be able to play real footbag one day !

- i can duck my quantum set and i might hit some out of it next session !

- i will get better and i hope all the footing of kool trix will morph into
hitting them

- drilling everything is fun

I changed my schedule at work from a thursday to monday shift,
plus the poisons of the weekend were still lingering about in my
system, thus my body-feel wasnt the greatest last session.

I was late too, and i really wanted to shred hard with Max, so the
warm up was minimal and stepping the only concept drilled before
we formed a two man circle, before Toby joined us .
Plus there was a new kid around too, who hit three legovers in a row
towards the end . I hope he keeps at it, naturally, he got a lot of
patiencen and asks really un-noobish questions, so his disposition for
learning freestyle is quite good !

Lets start with the pluses - stepping felt really at home, i hit all of my
standard stepping combos, plus two new ones.
Toes felt really weird and i felt very disconnected . Runs were really
short ( 6-12 guiltless ), and the " but i used harder links" excuse was
only partly true. Still, i used more clipper2clipper combos, my favorite
was stepping leg out of spin clip, and d.clip>side>d.clip midstring.
Paradons and whirls midstring are coming along shyly.

atom>paradon bs again

atom>d.mirage>rpt>run again

side>rip>(side)

quantum leg>dlo bs

side>shmoe>run bs

4 ball shower - 4 catches ; three in one hand - 7 catches

hit toestall while 3 ball cascading

Tomorrow i'll probably have a session in our schools gym -
if my energy level if back up, i'll do what Mathieu suggested  !

@ sile and flav : i wont be in Praha, cause there is some birthday
business to take care of on the same weekend ....

I shred way too little, and between my last post and yesterdays madness,
i only had one mediocre session, where i really had to fight for decent
results.

Yesterday, everything was different, again. My legs were light and fast,
and although my endurence was still a bit poor, i had a real good body
feel all around.

Again i hit some trickier repeat combos into runs ( atom>dmir, dmir>d.leg ),
my stepping set was on, dexless was aaight and toe guiltless was unexpectedly nice .
I worked on clipper, bop and paradons and some
hard combos/trix with many dexes - it was a real shred and not so much
a drill session :D

atom>atomic legover>dlo>plo>toe blr>run

dlo>ss dlo>ss dlo>ss dlo midstring 8O

another run with atom bsos and toe blur bsos

toe blur>toe blur>atom>atomic drop ggrrrrrr

17 guiltless
( first run :)

flip toe blur>gyro toe

wauxpin midrun :)

nuklear ss clip

atomsmasher>pixie tap first try ever :P

Monday was all about skooling - i went for single tricks mostly, worked
on dlo, whirl, legbeater and quantum legover - and general endurance
build-up.
My stepping was kinda lame, but i still managed to hit blur>legbeater>
atomsmasher on bs a couple of times, still leg>blur is very hard 4 me.

quantum leg>tap>run bs

quantum leg>tapping pick up>run bs

atomsmasher>asassin :D

I was finally able to lure Max into working on some fives, and he hit a lot
of nice looking blurry whirls and pixie ducking butterflies .
After hitting witchdoc a coupla time, Max requested full symp tap,
and i managed to hit it twice with good form .

Runs were a little short, but the links were ok, so i could live with that.

Next session i will focus on clipper combos, stepping, dbl dexes and
run lenght, and i also try to nail all the elusive and tasty tricks that
keep eluding me for way too long

Last session was dope - Bjoern, your visit made me very happy :) !
Hopefully you'll be able to stay a little longer next time you swing by
and i also hope to paly a little better then on wednesday .

I was really happy with the way warm up went, drilling paradons, whirl
and ducking felt good too - > 4 out of 5 paradons>handcatch bs ;
ducking mirage, ducking legover bsos + d.clip b2b in a long tiltless string.

Due to a chenge in technique, my dlos werent that hot, but hey .
Drifter was ok, whirls are still on their way up (butter>whirl>pdx mir rpt )
Gotta love them clippers long time i guess...
Toes were ok, but for some stupid reasons i always tried trickier links
to start runs, the bag had a lot of floor action and i could focus less and
less...dammed runs :x ! Still i hit d.mirage>atom>rpt>run, smear>atom
rpt>run and toe blur>toe blur again.

Nu Stuff :

tap>d. legover rpt

tap>paradon bs

legbreaker

frontside atomsmasher

chin high quantum sets

High add tricks and hard links are all fine and dandy, guiltless/tripless runs
make me feel feel athlectical and strong, but TILTLESS is what i really love
at the moment.
I had some nice low add strings with a lot of variety and some
standard threes thrown in, the best one was 40 + contacts :D

I dunno, but i guess its the relaxedness and the feeling of control,
no hustling too hard for certain "achievements", but just enjoying the
flow . Like that i got my ducking back and my endurance is on the way
up - i played 3 hrs today, the first half with Bea, the second on my own.

Tiltless praise aint over yet - this time there were two crowds watching,
some italian tourists at the beginning, later a large gang of minnesota
high school kids and Bea and me looked really good with our longish,
easy strings.

They really loved it, and we stepped it up a bit and i increased the number
of earthlings who've seen toe blur and paradon ;)
At the end, one of em joined us and taught me sole stall, in turn
i exlained clipper and legover to him and gave him some footbag.org
info.

When that was over Bea and me practised whirls, i really sucked
at them and traded them quite soon for paradon, but Bea made a
nice progress technique wise ; and she killed it during warm up,
hitting 24 infinities twice :)

I list the stuff that i went thru today briefly :

kicks, toe-clip-all in together- tiltless, gyro toes, whirl, paradon, toe shmoe, nuklear, flailing, runs. dexless stuff for all the tiredness in between.

Nu Shizzle :

gyro toe bsos  ....

paradon>pdx mirage>paradon bs
, at least 6 times each side, dropping
on the final pdx mirage, no matter what side i started from :?

butter>ss butter>rpt>butter>butter midstring - dont you laugh now !

frontside tap

ducking clip>ducking clip>nuklear ss mirage>smear>small combo

frontside atomsmasher>butter>7 + guiltless 8)

d.clip>pdx mirage>frontside tap>smear>run

flailing legover first try ever, straight after saying
"this move is impossible " !

atomic illusion ( strong illusion )

Fantastic session, i dont know where to start really, but it was definitly
a good start for me when i totally unxpectedly spotted Bjoerns beaming
face in the queue . He is so good for our team, i cant explain .
Then we were in turn dicovered by Andy, the new kid on the street .
This guy's cool too, shows up at every session and has a highly appreciated
and rare seriousness about him.
We got down, changed, as we started kicking, Bea showed up, then Max .

Warm up was everything i like about it and i pretty much did all the drills listed
in previous posts, butterflies and ducking moves were feeling the best.

Another kool thing was how the variety of activities, the changing circles
and different styles of shred were permeated by a certain determined-ness.
Everybody worked hard, tried new things and Bea made some huge whirl progress,
which resulted in the most beautiful paradox whirls i've seen so far :D

For me, everything went well too - especially trying to cut down on pdx mirages ;
I hit a lot of ducking clippers, more clip set dlos and stepping trix and some whirls instead .
Next time i want to incorporate barrage, nuklear and pdx dlo for the same reason,
gotta think of some new anti pdx mirage drills .

My flip pixie kinda finds its way back home, those atws are good to me -
i felt so relieved when i hit smear>atom rpt into a run, magellan bsos, flip pixie illusion and so on
again without the hassle of many previous sessions :)

Hitting paradons into runs is fun, just that you know .

pixie tap>ducking mirage>run

ds mirage>plo>ss dlo>atomsmasher>toe blur

quantum leg>ss dlo rpt

tap>tapping pick up>rpt>small combo

paradon>pdx mirage>atomsmasher>ss butter>ducking clip>ducking clip>whirl>run

stepping gyro toe with good form

Yeah man ! I was given secret advices by Arthur and Grisha on
a few trix like pdx whirl, ps whirl, eggbeater, flail and sometimes
when i'm having a light, casual session, i try some of these .

The set was really nice and high, i gave myself a big boost and
felt like Reni for a few seconds. Dex was deep and well timed,
i stalled the bag, flicked it up to hand catch it.
But it slipped out of my hand and landed on a bench -
hence the expression "unexpectedness of ps whirl" :D

Pushing clippers in the sun is the way forward :D !

I had a sunny solo session and drilled all my clipper related concepts,
mostly butterfly and drifter. There was a lot of re-visiting ( e.g. pdx drifter)
and some nice surprises too - my favorite one was hitting my first
clipper to clipper tripless combo.

same butter>d.clip x 4

ducking clip>butter>drifter bs and butter>d.clip>drifter bs a lot : )

ducking clipper>pdx whirl twice

ducking buttterfly b2b

diving clip>d.butter bs

pdx drifters bs; blurry whirl ; tomahawk

ripwalk>ducking butter>pdx drifter 8)
