Well, the title pretty much says it all folks - After extensive testing and design modifications, the Penske Pro Signature Model Mr. Sandbag is finally done. You can read up about it here:

Since I know someone's going to wonder, no, it is not filled with "sand" per say, it is however filled (partly) with glass beads, which are made from sand.

I know the price seems high, but keep in mind that this is the most expensive filler used in any footbag, and the most dense. In addition sales from this bag go directly to the Jim Penske World Championships Travel Fund ;) (as well as, like all sales, a portion to the IFPA).

This is kickass... I'm probably going to order one when I get a job (soon).

The heavy tungsten alloy fill used in the "Heavy Style" costs five times that of the lighter tungsten version - even the "lighter" stuff is not cheap, nor are the beads for that matter, or, while I'm on the subject, the embriodery. It's machine stitched by myself, and closed with a hand stitch by Jim Penske. There's no machine that makes footbags on it's own that I am aware of ;).

Oh yea, you kicked with one today ;). We're making one tiny tweak to the fill mix, and then I believe it will be about perfect :D.

Note that both the Emmings and Chain Mail have been discontinued. We're working on a new design for the Chain Mail, though I can't say when it will be complete - soonish, at best.

Jim sent me one and Scott/Flash and I kicked with it. Not that my opinion means anything, but I like it. Scott said that it was the best Freedom that he ever played with. He said that he liked the weight (the one that I have is about 55g give or take), how it's like a sandman but heavy.

We finally perfected it today. The heavy style is nice. It's 2.8 ounces! I like really heavy bags. It doesn't play like a sandbag. It sticks to your foot. If you have really good crank you won't drop it.

Freedoms are easy to stall (thats why beginners love them). I never had a problem with freedoms in that respect (in fact I think they are too easy to stall in some respects and allow for moves to be hit/fluked that would not otherwise have been hit with 32 panel bag). My problem with 4 panel bags has always been how they set and their inconsitancy in the air.

Also if I cut my hair like vasek, get jim's bag, and get the same shorts as jorden will I be able to hit super nemesis?

So, any follow-ups?

The thing I hate about sandbags is you could never feel the impact of it on your foot. Does this play like a 32?

I'm really interested in getting one.

I know! I'm just all messed up in the head. I guess I thought since it wasn't made with many panels it would tend to act more like a sandbag.
